Bosses and Starbound story

How do the bosses fit together with the story in Starbound? Or are they just temporary?

 

The only bosses that may have any place in the lore right now would maybe be Dreadwing and the Robot. From what I remember, I think the Glitch lore you can find in the game refers to some penguin trying to pose as a Glitch king and rule the Glitch. Also, I think the Robot may somehow be tied to Greenfinger, who is a big character in the lore.

 

So the current bosses may be removed?

 

For bosses, what if adding items to things used to spawn bosses could make them tougher?

 

Dreadwing=Penguin leader, maybe defeating him will come back and bite you later in the story

Fatal Circuit=Your idiot idea of putting a monster brain in a armed robot to make a processor that you must have put in the robot anyway to build it.

Bone Dragon=Probably the result of the cultists sacrifices or something similar.

Giant Jelly=Random freak of nature, or a result of Greenfingers boredom.

Tentacle Comet=Ties into main story line with the tentacle invasion and possibly Agarans

 

More like the meteor invasion.

 

Fatal Circut=You finding the plans and wondering what would happen if you used them. Then recycling.
Tentacomet=Baby brother of the thing that ate Earth.
