When you kill phoenix again it explodes (again) and turn into the ash with residual HP. When you kill ash boss will defeat. Is Phoenix Blaster an easter egg? I mean there is a weapon in Terraria with the same name Also you should rewrite your theme, so reading will be easier. And yeah. You should make it more detalized...
I actually really like the idea of the boss. Kill the phoenix, dmg the ash, kill the phoenix... It creates an idea where you are forced to fight an endurance match with minimal downtime for resting in the fight itself. I feel like maybe the ash could have some ability, like perhaps the ash burns, and the fire gets bigger until the phoenix spawns again, and the fire can spark out at the players. This just creating more work for the player as I could see this being an easy but lengthy fight!
What could also happen, is once the bird form takes lethal damage, it explodes and reforms into an egg. The egg could start catching on fire and then burst open after some time.
I like that idea better! That way you could get up close and melee, but get back before it explodes dealing massive damage, the shards dealing less

Heeey... I'm not good spriter :O And yeah, I will try to draw them, but I need info - how many different animations do you need? For example - Stand animation, fly animation etc
I think phoenix will be several animations sorta, bird flying, bird burning up into ash, ashes on fire/shooting ash out, fire bursting into phoenix rising.
Probably he needs more animations. For example I still have no idea how will phoenix attack. Will it shoot fireballs or feathers. Or is it melee? Probably I will make sprites for him, after I finish armor's sprites for my idea(Dual Planet).
