Boss Ideas

Yes, I made it with GIMP. Forgive the shoddy pixel work; my brother is the artist in the family.

 

Fear the swarms of Piranha Bunnies!!!

I like the idea of swarm bosses. Sometimes I want to fight big giant bosses (like those suggested already)... sometimes I want to fight similar sized unique bosses (like someone suggested fighting a clone or mirror of yourself)... -But sometimes I want the boss not to be big and powerful, but many in numbers! I want to fight tons of creatures who act as a swarm doing little damage individually but collectively they hurt bad.

Boss Functions: When you get to the boss, you have an individual Piranha Bunny and easily can kill it. Once you kill one, the pissed off swarm arrives and they all try and tear your face off. Trying to dig to get away doesn't help much because the land based swarm can dig through the ground. One bunny cannot dig fast... but in large swarms they can quickly dig through to the player. Each individual Piranha Bunny in the swarm is pretty easy to kill. However, because they attack in a swarm and are so numerous the challenge it to kill them all before you die.


Why this boss? Because I like to kill Bunnies! THEY MUST DIE!

Oh and if people want to kill the King Piranha Bunny it could look like this:

Galaxy guardian (Your size) states you are crossing boundaries which should not be reached for your races path and he fights you quick dashing samurai/anime style. Guardian depends on race and sorry for no pics, on tablet.

 

some sort of massive underwater creature that would scare the shit outta you when you jump in the ocean.

 

A boss that doesn't do anything except spawn replicants.

 

Didn't read 7 pages, sorry if it was said, but cthulhu boss on an ocean planet? Be sick.

 

My idea for a boss is a creature that hunts Novakids. This hunter would absorb their energy into their bodies, as well as the energy of any tech around him.

Here's a concept that I drew up.


He would have a double melee attack (his two left arms) and a powerful range attack using is claw like right arm (think pistol shrimp?).
He could also have a special nova special attack that drains all energy of any player fighting him leaving players to wait. Maybe this could effect your characters heat levels too as it being a source of energy for this boss?

I wish I was more creative but this is about all I can come up with right now

 

make a sand serpent that is in a desert

 

A quest line possibly end line quest where you fight an entire planet.. it trying to spew fire at you from every which way or perhaps it being a biological monstrosity like the tentacle planets. yes.. a boss planet with boss minions as strong as mini bosses.. and just a plain nightmare planet.. . . . nightmare planet another good idea.. >.>;; mmmh.. infact.. super rare worlds with odd things that might spawn once a universe.. like a rainbow planet.. or a planet made entirely out of gold. <.< or a planet made entirely out of metal and robots.. stuff like that~ just random thoughts anyway.

 

Cannible mob of Florans event? Invasion events from the races.

 

A Heisenberg boss that fires Jesses from his hat. Also, he bleeds blue.

It'd be cool to fight a glitched out glitch. A honorable old knight that's been protecting the grave of his dead love for a thousand years. He's basically a good guy but has lost all scope of his original purpose. You can only defeat him with melee weapons in honorable combat while he hallucinates about the battle he constantly relives in his mind, where he failed to protect his dead love. His shield arm was mostly ripped off long ago, but it emanates powerful arcs of electricity when you attempt to use projectile weapons, caused by a surge of raw robo-emotion (his love was killed by a gun-toting apes?).

Then when you prevail, it's sort of sad and you feel like an ass, but that how you get into a dungeon or something. There should be petals of some sort falling in the background, like a romanticized samurai duel.

 

At the end of the sewers, there should be a giant chamber where the boss of the Po lives.

THE PO PO.

He wears a police hat, and hits you with a baton. He has a special attack to stun you with a taser.

 

... If were having a Poop boss its not gonna be named the Po Po. If anything it should be the Great Mighty Po. Complete with incredibly inappropriate themsong track.

 

I'm joking, because 'Po Po' is slang for 'The Police'.

I'd favor an event-battle thats sorta like a boss. Like pirates soaring down onto the planet your on from drop pods and after defeating enough the captain comes out in a mech-fight. Once you destroy his mech you fight him/her while running around in human form.

 

That sounds oddly familiar to the penguin invasion...minus fighting the penguin after it's ship goes down.

 

Okey this is my third Boss.

It can be found in water where there is much of it as its needs water to survive.
from far it looks like a harmless small island or a peace of ground flooting around to draw his victems.
but when you get close enof its shows his true colors , not many survive to tell the teal of the great monsters inhabeting the oceans.

so about the Boss :

Its shoots sticky balls from its mouth as they hit a target or an object they explode and creating gass that does damage.
Its can olso instantly spray gass around itself when its feel its in danger.
to avoid damage it can block ataks with his tentacles and thats fine as they grow back quite fast. (this way it can block long range ataks)

The nice part of this boss as its on water and will be challanging to fight it.
and the size of the character would be the hight of its body or as big as the pinquin spaceship that we seen in the demo.
