Boobs

Median is the number that has half the numbers above it and half the numbers below. Average is all the numbers added up and divided by the total amount of numbers.

If I have a group of people with these ages: 7,12,12,15,22,22,23,27,29,36,50,71,99
Then the median would be: 23
The average, however, would be: 33

This is a relatively small list of numbers. With a significantly larger list the difference between them would possibly be smaller, but the bigger issue is the way the ages are distributed. In this list many of the ages are quite small and only a few are large. That leads to a small median value but the average still takes into consideration the very large ages.

 

So back to boobs. If you where a cow person, would the boob slider affect the utters?

But in all seriousness (Serious face), normal is by definition the equivalent of average, so what is the average amount of people on this earth? I'm asking you because i don't want to bother with google; i would rather my mindless mini- i mean helpful and nice staff do it for me. Please?

 

Somehow I have the feeling that the 'human' race in the game isnt even from earth. Like the humans from star wars... they are not from earth. So the debate of "normal" in Starbound is a bit moot.

There are plenty of other things that could be said. What I suspect you really mean is you feel this topic is inappropriate or offensive. If so, say so. There is no reason to stifle a conversation simply because you believe it to have run it's course. I personally no longer have much to add to the conversation, but there are things that could be said pertaining to and related to the original post.

For example, just as planets are able to be changed later with terraforming and our characters appearance can be changed via clothing, perhaps our characters body shape and size could be changed after creation as well. Via special items like genetic engineering syringes or implants. One possible change I could see is the ability to alter your character's physical features like breast size or muscle size with implants, steroids, or what have you. Noone has mentioned such a possibility in this thread yet.

For an additional example, NPC reactions could perhaps be affected by things like bust size and muscles too. Perhaps they could be attracted to certain body types, or dislike them. It could alter the things they say to you or give you different quest options or discounts. I don't believe this has been mentioned either.

I would recommend that if you don't like a topic, don't read it. If you feel a topic is inappropriate, report it. You may not find it worth talking about but please respect other's right to discuss it themselves or if you are offended by it say so and report it.

 

No, I mean That this has expanded from what it originally meant. This have moved to body features apposed the original topic. The suggestion has broadened so a new thread about creation of characters and body features that'll impact gameplay.

However, I suppose it is possible I mistook your meaning. It seemed like you just wanted the topic ended. I agree the title no longer fits perfectly anymore. Threads often evolve that way. I think perhaps a request for a title change would be enough though.
