Blood

Will there be blood in starbound like terraria did?
(not that i want it)

 

I am impressed,you did a good thread.I don't really know if there will be blood...with the released images i can't tell if blood will fit the game.

 

If there will be blood, it MUST be PRESSURIZED

OT: Hope so. Blood in a game with shooting/hacking/slashing, etc= Good

 

I don't think blood is a very good idea, it's not looking to be a gory game or whatever. It just doesn't fit this kind of game, in my opinion.

 

Only if it squirts out of enemies... I mean, come on. I don't want have blood coming out of ME!

 

As long as you can turn it off in options, im fine. (My little bro is also gonna play, ya know?)

 

I think that it will be identical to terraria, but you would be able to tone it down/turn it off. It would be cool if on different planets blood would come out in different pressures upon injury!

 

I hope so, but considering little kids will play this game, I hope their are options for it to turn off/on.

 

Did you know that if a chicken sees blood on another animal, they go insane and attack it? I find that interesting. (You better have read that in a GLaDOS voice.)

 

I love blood in games.I like them brutal , you know.I mean , shoot someone once and some blood get out , now hit them with a massive 2-handed hammer and a lot more blood gets out.That's the kind of thing I like , I hope they also put bloods with different colors for aliens creatures.

 

Green glowing blood, blue man-eating blood, Yellow corrosive acid blood... the possibilities are endless!

 

Propably yes, but it'll go away, unless you want all the place to be red after a raid.

 

I'm sure there will be blood but only as much as necessary, like if an enemy explodes you'd see red on the remaining bodyparts and such. I seriously doubt there would be blood shooting out of your enemies with each stab, splattering over the walls and your character as a crimson pool forms at your feet from the drained corpse of your felled adversary.



Why, that would just be silly.

 

I'm sure there will be SOME blood in the game, but given the style and everything, this isn't meant to be all kinds of gory and graphic. I would guess they'd add enough to make it believable when you kill something, but not so much that it seems out of place with everything else
