Race Blobinitians

Nope, though I do have a few questions about the race. So, how does a race of tiny bacteria some how evolve into a giant single celled organism that some how grew a giant eye. Why would a race also split into two different parts, and suddenly, when it hadn't had eye sight since its beginning, the species of blobinita with eye sight, have an advantage over the ones without it. It sounds like the ones without it had been much more prosperous, then the eyed ones, what happened to them? were they wiped out?
What about the other races of the universe? how do they act around them?
Oh even more, what do a civilization of giant blobs even create? How do they defend themselves? I mean they cant be able to move fast or in any significant amount, so they cant fight very well. That also limits what they can make or do to, very little. This also confuses me on the whole "they made structures out of cement" thing. How did they A) know how to make that stuff, and B even do it in the first place. Not like they have the strength to move it around, or the materials to make it.

Oh and one last thing, When the sun of a planet it red, it is not going to be a planet filled with forests and life, especially giant cell people.
