{Black Star} (SB-RP)

My head is ringing with pain as I recover from what could compare with shellshock. I can hear the shuttle's on board nav system speaking but I only managed to make out: "You have arrive*static* estination." I pull the emergency door release which triggers the explosive bolts, sending the door flying meters away from the shuttle. I jump out feet first into the day light outside, pulse rifle in hand. As my feet hit the ground they make a nasty squish sound as if I just stomped in a pile of tomatoes. As my eyes adjust I noticed that the shuttle somehow got a paint job along the bottom. I look up and see-

Anyways, currently, is nighttime on this moon. You fell over the Cat that was triying to have Fuzbal for lunch.

You get out, and see blood all around the ship, and meat whit grey hair. You try to adjust your eyes to the darkness, and manage to see an humanoid form looking at you...

You hear: Hello? Mittfu? Ginny?

I flick on the tac light on my pulse rifle and aim it towards the direction of the voice, safety still on and finger off the trigger. "Freeze! Identify yourself! Are you human!?" Though as soon as the Tac light revealed him, I lowered my weapon, "he looks rather young to be out here on his own." I thought to my self. "Sorry, let me try that again, My name is Maraunder, but my friends call me Marshall. Whats your name? Was this..." I look back at the pile of tiger bits, "Was this your pet or something?"

 

Hello Marshall, I am Tobi, or fuz. I don't blame you for being cautious, I was here less than an hour and ran into one of these things, there is bound to be more. I am trying to see if my computer can get a scan of it, or some DNA. maybe I can make a friendly clone. but it would take some work. I was on a ship escaping earth, then it got damaged, I went off one way while the other two passengers I am hoping came here. one of them was an old friend and I am looking for them.

Back Story: Logan was a quiet, polite boy when he was young; however, there was one single thing he'd never do: hurt another child. No matter what happened, he would never even lay a finger on someone else. If two people were fighting, he'd stand in between them until they got tired of beating the crap out of him. He grew up strong, and as he got older, his skills increased, especially his ceativive and technological abilities. Once, at the age of 18, one of his rather combustible experiments exploded, killing his parents. From then on he decided to never speak to anyone out of grief again, instead using his pet cyborg cat M0k4 to communicate.He now resides in an old train car he teched-up at the edge of town, near that Mexican restaurant (Chipolte's).​

I reach into the crashed shuttle and pulled out my pack from the storage compartment, I rummage around and pull out a monocular. "Here, you hold on to this, don't lose it though. I only have one." I toss him the monocular and slung my pack around my shoulder, adjusting the straps so that it fit over my vehicle crewman armor without getting in the way.

Said armor doesn't make me bullet proof, its vehicle armor so it would protect my character from vehicle related dangers such as (mainly) impact, shrapnel, blunt trauma, and (just a little) Piercing hazards.

"Alright lets head out when you are ready."

 

(Since it doesn't look like I'm going to get any work here any time soon, I'll just post some random stuff, hoping to eventually achiev some kind of progress or whatnot... (And no, I am not a friend of those goddamn spoilers (And no, not because I forgot the code for spoilers (And no, I am not to lazy to search for the code (And yes, ok, I am))))

"Well that was... unfortunate." I grab the torch and suggested: "With the torch giving us enough light, we could be able to head out to search for the others... Would it be a good idea to take the crystal with me? You know, 'cause it's got super powers and such?", I laugh for a second and then I start getting serious again. "Do you have some kind of weapon or something? Just in case? We should head out fast if we want to have a chance of finding someone that has not already been sliced up into a hundret bloody pieces." I make some steps away from the shipwreck and the house, hoping to signal something like 'hurry'. And while making a few more steps outwards I take some scrap out of my backpack and start carving arround a little bit, seeing with what I can come up. Nothing, I thought, but who knows what a man can make out of just a piece of metal and some old copper wires.

(I wanted to say anything else than copper, but it would be helpfull if you'd come up with some ores and metalls or plants or whatever that the people from this world should be avare of.)

Hello Anyone There

 

The shuttle I came into the story on is supposed to have 3 passengers total so might as well add Aviator as I had suggested earlier, Aviators character would also fit into my back story as a travelling doctor trying to help the sick and poor of the city I was hired to go to before the attack. Also assuming we are going off of my back story for this introduction scene, Logan doesn't fit too easily, plus his character has a vow of silence which wouldn't be ideal at this very moment, but there are plenty of other scenarios that would make his introduction more interesting and unique. I am going to wait for Sarzael to give the OK on this though before I make a reply to Aviator, Hijacking an RP thread isn't a nice thing to do

I roll my eyes "Its not a weapon, its like binoculars, except there is only one set of lenses. Just hold the small end up to your eye and look at the mountain, and tell me what the built in range finder says. It should tell you in meters how far the mountain is, if its over 5600 meters then it will stay blank."

EDIT on the rangefinders distance, I'm used to using miles and meters NOT kilometers, changing that bit to meters
