Hello! I am back from vacation! (hello mittfu and omni!) (and welcome, Deven and Aviator!) (and I changed my first post to make it say I grew up on earth... heh sorry

By finding coordinates of the ship, seeing the damages it took, and the biggest gravitiational force nearby, you find out it should have fall in the moon of a gaseous giant.

You run towards the ship as fast as you can, when suddenly the dog-human aliens following you, stop, and run away.

Suddenly you hear a sound, and see a giant worm coming out of the ground, and its gonna fall whit is mouth right over you.

You roll and manage to avoid it. You know by being as part of your train in laboratories, that most insect are very vulnerable to fire. You have an torch in hand, which probably wont be enough to kill it, but should be enough to make it run away.

However, you can know if the biology of this worm is same as Earth ones, it could be invulnerable to fire, and whitout torches, you wont be able to see in the dark night.

 

if what you are trying to say is that when the ship took damage the coordinates fell out of the ship when it was hit and fell to the moon of a gaseous giant, then I go look for them.

 

(What im triying to say is that you found the coordinates of where it was damaged, and the nearbiest gravity force is the moon, so it is very probably they will be there)

You send the coordinates, and hear a sound, that will be the Jets of the ship working, and the ship starts moving, slowly but firmly towards the planet.
You see an liquid in the moon, it looks like water, but colour going more towards a Cyan.
The clear atmosphere, whit almost no clouds, lets you see the big vegetation, Green in the most, leading towards Brown in some parts.

You finally arrive, and take equipment from the ship, as you dont know what dangers might be lurking.
You find an armor, whit blue circuits. You dont know what it is made from, but is elastic and resistent, and adapts perfectly to your body. You also take a gun.

You dont know the exact site where they landed, but should be around this zone. You see many trees and vegetation around. Is night there, so you also take an flashlight, and begin searching.

 

(okay I understand) I look around and back into a tree for safety while I look around, forgetting to look up in the tree first.

I think to myself "could this be the planet that Mittfu is on? I hope so." reach up and take a leaf from the tree, a leaf from a bush, a blade of grass and a soil sample. I take all of these back to the ship where I put them in the computer, and some words come up on the screen. they say...

Back Story:

After getting a bachelors degree in history and realizing that leads nowhere in life, I signed on with a small and inexperience but strangely well funded private military company that trained me as a vehicle operator. I showed the most skill in simulations with lightly armored personnel carriers (APC's) and heavy main battle tanks (HMBT's), crushing all of his fellow soldiers-for-hire with ancient horse archer tactics of circling his opponent, raining fire from all sides and making his victims dizzy and confused. In urban settings he would use the HMBT's heavy armor and ram his opponents, a dangerous tactic, but it always ended with them overturned in their steel coffins and his parked on top. [/spolier]​

When I was sent on my first assignment; a baby sitting job in a "nondescript" city, which I arrived at a couple of hours before the the "Glowing spheres of destruction" started falling from the sky. And everyone was almost ordered back but then HQ got all static-ey, leaving the entire troop in panic. Everyone went their own way some tried to shoot the things, some tried to steal things, but I took my tank and drove to the space port which was a couple of blocks away (we had just recently arrived) and scared everyone away by crashing through the hangar wall and pointing my giant glowing cannon at all the armed people.​

Once it was safe I got out with my equipment pack which was awkward to sling on my back with my crewmen armor on, so I pulled out my pulse rifle from the pack to reduce its bulk and sprinted down the hangar, I caught a glimpse of the area around me which seemed to be a hangar belonging to the local government which is obviously corrupt if we are here, before I knew it I was joined by a couple of other people from the streets who were also armed and must have been riding on the back of the tank. I saw what looked like escape pods equipped for past orbit space travel. I stopped and turned around, helping those who were following me buckle in before I tossed my pack inside the storage compartment while climbing in myself.​

"What the hell is going on here?! Where are they, and from where did the meat come from?! Calm, calm, I have to summarize the events. So... every creature seems to be some kind of super-strong mutant or something and they are always aggressive. The plants, as I observed, behave in a strange way... I don't know how to say it. Furthermore, we have no supplies, because they where covered in ash and became useless, but non the less I ate a steak, wich was good, and have no idea where it came from. Then there's also that crystal that protected me and seems to have powers that are not physically possible in any way. And last but not least, our dear friends are no longer here, wich means, seeing it as the worst case cenario, that they are no longer alive. All the things that I just said confuse me even more...", I thought loud. First thing I could think of: seeing what the crystal is all about. I take out a syringe and try to extract something of the crystal. Even if it sounds like a stupid idea extracting something frm a solid thing, I think it is going to work. Then I eat up the last piece of my steak, swallowing it down in one piece, because I want to be quick and prepare for an... expedition. I also take the rest of my stuff, and put it in my backpack. The next move depends on wheter I can extract something or not. "We should get moving... quickly."

You decide to take the small computer, that way you will be able to get info as you search for Mittgfu and the others.

You try to take a sample, however, as soon as you manage to insert the syringe inside the crystal, an white light appears on where you put the syringe.
You jump to the ground and cover head whit hands, as you see the white light converting into a explosion, completely desintegrating the syringe, but not dealing any physical effect to the crystal.

You manage to find an working lighter around the ship, and take an stick of wood from the ground. This should give you some light during the night.

I realize that less than half of the planets have life on them, this was the closest one and it had life, if Mittfu landed here there is a chance he and Ginny survived! I decide to take a small container of liquid nitrogen just in case. and I set out on my mission to find Mittfu and Ginny. and as I am walking I also think "if there is life here... not all of it can be friendly..."

I also changed my first post to say I am from earth, this SHOULD be the last time I change it. unless I miss another rule....

 

You start walking beetween the forest, whit caution. You walk for a time, you wouldnt know say how much, when suddenly you hear a sound.
You see two small lights coming towards you.

 

"you better not have hurt Mittfu" I jump at the lights and enter a type of rage mode, attacking what ever it is.

 

You try to hit something but find nothing else than air. The own lights are moving. Almost like... Fairies? But they cant be fairies. Fairies dont exist! Or do they???

Suddenly, an cat-like creature appears of the darkness and try to hit you whit claw, you avoid the claw, of size of your body, and see the giantic cat. Those lights were nothing but the end of an moustache-like hair, probably for attracting preys. And it worked very well.
You start running away, as fast as possible, but you know that it is following you.

 

um... if you did hurt Mittfu... it is obvious that he didn't win... or something more dangerous... what kind of a planet is this? I pull out the nitrogen, just in case I have to use it, and continue running towards the space ship. then I get an idea, and try and get it as close as I can (without hurting myself) to the... catastrophe? so the computer can scan it.

 

You re gonna get hit by the enormous claw of that ´´Cat``, and throw by instinct the nitrogen, but fail and hit a tree.
Suddenly a sound, a explosion, you in the ground, blood of the cat...

You go check what saved you and see one of the shuttles you, Ginny and Mittfu took.

 

I sit down for a minute while my heartbeat slows down to a regular pace. then I pick up the computer to scan the cat, while I call out "Hello? Mittfu? Ginny?"
