My friend who cannot join the forums for some reason really wanted me to post this.

He wanted it to suck in enimes for a while while damaging em, then after killing em dropping the loot, or what i thought compressing the loot into something shiny.

It would be hurting you on what he called "hard mode".

ok, that makes sense, also can you turn off the black hole at will

It should run for a set time, like 5 seconds.

Ahhh, well then my idea would still work.

Idea:Shoot black hole above you, black hole drags you to it. black hole goes away. shoot a second black hole while still in the air. Repeat.=Instant flying through the air.
(i hope this makes sense) :D

Makes sense! Its brilliant idea to use gravity to fly. I think it wouldnt be safe in real world and it wouldnt work in that way, but hey- we want some fun from the game right?

I'll just leave these here. Black holes seem like something that a dedicated device should handle, not some tiny gun. Regardless, like the idea. Perhaps the offensive version could be a bomb or larger gun type with slightly less power.

Micro-Singularity Device(Heavy Weapon-2H): When fully charged, this device emits a powerful fluctuation in spacetime that destabilizes upon contact with solid matter of any sort. When it hits a block or non-allied entity it expands slightly, dealing knockback to nearby enemies. After a second or two it collapses violently, sucking in everything with a fairly large radius including non-reinforced blocks such as dirt and water, etc. Deals heavy damage to those inside the radius constantly, and sucks in any items dropped by the offending parties. At the end of the effect, some Spaghettified Matter is dropped depending on the amount of matter consumed by the singularity. This weapon will drain all of your remaining suit energy, and the effects will be stronger and last longer based on the amount drained.

Singularity Generator(Emplacement[10x10]): This device is square-shaped with a circular center surrounded by four metal prongs at the diagonal points. It creates a miniature black hole that can be used for numerous purposes. The primary function of this device is Trash Disposal, as it can compress numerous objects into a much more manageable size. Anything can be thrown into the black hole during its 5-second activation time, but the device needs to cool down for roughly a minute after every use to prevent space-time from being improperly stretched. After the activation period, a varying amount of Spaghettified Matter is dropped from the collapsing singularity. This item is used by several high-level devices, mods and ammo types as a material, and can also be utilized as fuel for some reactor types. Stepping into the singularity during the activation time is NOT recommended, as spaghettifying oneself is probably not something that can be fixed with bandaids.

If the black hole was large enough to suck in an enemy, wouldnt it be large enough to suck in the black hole gun?

Yes, if you were stupid enough to drop it, or shoot it close enough to trap yourself in the resulting singularity.

And actually non-junk items wouldn't be able to be destroyed by the black hole, to prevent you from losing weapons/rare items/tools to griefers

    Hmm.....
If this was in the game it should be REALLY hard to craft cuz its so beast!

i think mass compression gun is more appropriate title for the weapon due to the fact it does not create a black hole because you can retrieve a byproduct everything get compressed it also seems more possible not that that matters :D.
