Sorry, my sister. I... did my best.

A very emotional piece, it's finally my side of the art duel between Xiie and myself, I wanted to really evoke the tragic nature of the fight, particularly Blu's devastation when her sister is made from status of "not-dead" to being quite "diddly gosh darn deadily indeedily" instead!

 

It's been too long since I did a decent Fyori, so i decided to do a decent Fyori, as such.
Riding the Storm

I rode the Brisbane Ferry for the first time, which was what inspired this more than anything. I drew a fairly rough thumbnail of what I imagined on line-paper so I wouldn't forget.

Whoo-boy it sure is nice to be able to do art again! Assessments all done for the time being.

Right, now before you all go saying WRONG PLACE A BLAH BLAH WAAAAH I'm actually just proceeding this post with a vague cryptic warning that while this may be my best piece in a very long time, she has a really large creepy factor that no matter what I tried I couldn't seem to correct, this creep facotr is her face. It's like-- you know when you say "Better get my good side" and your snarky ass vaudeville familiar is all "I guess we aren't discussing your face then" and you have that thought, that only people with a weird mutant face can have... does... does my face actually look off?"

Well in truth her face is pretty beyond words but something is off, it's the uncanny valley effect, personally, I think it is slight enough now that it can be excused as an expression of her behaviours.

Alright I'm gonna stop talking before I drive you away, here be Sacre - Blu, full booty 3000 square pixel browser-fucker edition, complete with overdone filters.

Also BOY does she know she got a fine ass, too bad the same can't be sad about her weird shoulders that have one forearm being large at the base and the other a twig she'll really have to get that fixed at some point.

This took me over a day, almost two days, which is the longest I've spent on a piece in quite a damn time. To still have these errors is heartbreaking in a way, design doll has too much lenience on human spines, so I had to readjust the whole torso pretty much.

I still wanna touch her butt, though. =(

And tickle the soles of her feet too, that'd be fun, I think!

 

Rebel's Sunrise

Finally something that really shows a marginal improvement. You might look at this shortly before or after looking at Riding the Storm and ask... what happened to this fuckers art??

Well I've started drawing dynamic lighting on my lines as well as my shading and all that. So now instead of having beautiful shading juxtaposed by these static colored lines, we're at the point where the image is as one.

Also I think this is the first time I've used a lens flare since 2010, it's also the only filter I used beyond an a Gaussian blur and overlay blend on the sun rays.

The age of overfiltering will soon be over, and this marks it's beginning.

It's possible this will be an album art for the Intelligence OST.

It'll only get better, this is my first attempt at dynamic lighting in linework. So expect a gradual increase as time goes on.

Also been a while, College is kickin my ass sort of. :0

But lately I had time to draw again, and make a very 3D face this time, an image with perspective, macabre themes, and blood drawing, also runes which some people seem to really dig, so without further adue, i bring you:
Bewitched

Yeah she's totally gouging his eyes with her third and fourth finger, wouldn't be the first time she's done that, wouldn't be the last either.

Some of you likely don't know, by which i mean virtually all of you wouldn't know, that Bearsqueak (aka Xiie) and myself has been reconcepting Esperia a little, this was the outfit we ultimately decided on, aka- literally a long piece of draped cloth.

Who knows who that poor dude is she's bewitched, by the looks of the environment, it seems to be The Equation Unsolved, so perhaps that was how she dealt with one of the invaders, or maybe she used one of the various platforms as a place to assault this dude she'd captured from Dimension XII, it's likely this is during the final ten years of the cycle, so she'd be resorting to carrying her victims somewhere safer than her Limbo.

That's my theory, anyway. Hell it might just be a part of her Limbo, atop a building in post-reformation Galaxia, or it might be an entirely unknown location. Could easily be somewhere in Heldath, too.

Right, so about the drawing, it's definitely one of my most impressive works in the scope of faces and general expression and relativity to perspective and anatomy. Incase you weren't sure, the dude is being lift some by her tail, and it's clear he'd been bleeding out for a while, it's clear she hasn't finished with him though-- first his body isn't gray nor emaciated, secondly she's clearly drawing a lot of blood from him, but he still has it, too.

Also featured in the redesign Xiie and myself have been doing is the eyes, inspired largely by the Lilim from Monster Girl Encylopedia.

Deprived Lunacy

This piece is a depiction of an upcoming optional encounter for one of the games I released lately. WIP Video of that here.

 

I'm reminded suddenly. Not sure if you're even around still, but Crowfeast won't be a comic.

It will be a game.
Very much a work in progress currently, but here's the plan.

The game will focus around the Story of Mira, and there's three endings depending on your level of maliciousness, all will be very satisfying.

In the 'Ravenous' (you are entirely evil) ending, your megalomania allows you to surpass the sun god entirely, and become the absolute power over the world. I broach this because I did art of Mira lately that I forgot to show.


She changes appearance drastically depending which path you take.

In the Ravenous Story she transforms twice, once to the Herald of the Shale Crow, next to a Sun Goddess after smashing open the Orb of the Sun and draining it's power, which results in her being unstoppable, even to Ra, whom her final words to are that displayed in the art above after she heel drops him back to earth. The ascension cutscene is already largely fleshed out and will likely play to something like this.

Scary Glary Fairy

Did I ever mention I like women who are scary beyond all fucking reason?? Yes okay, pretty sure I did!

Fyori at her prime, this would be long after the battle of Nadine, probably after she'd hooked up with Esperia, and she felt like she could now do anything, she's using the energy of the pink sun (from which most cloud nymphs draw their power) to cast some sort of spell, it looks like that's a wormhole she's spawning behind her...

In Menagerie she can only slightly tap into these powers, as years of isolation and no training had left it only a thing she could do instinctively. The best example of their use may have been when she saved Spooky by slowing down time enough to allow him to dodge a bullet. In Intelligence she mostly just uses her regular abilities as well, possibly having a personal fear of using them too much, similar to Pep and his fear of utilizing the red tempest.

About eight hours of sai and a little photoshop. Mostly though I only use filters to add to an image, not to hide flaws. Ultimately outside of a few modifications to make the shading more crisp, I mainly used photoshop for the sake of blending the background and making the spell effects look cool.

And adding the text, sai has NO text support.

Okay so! This is Fyori, duh, obviously. A very sad and unhappy looking Fyori, so I'd assume this is her before she met with the Menagerie, back when she was alone and felt lost, like the only world she knew she felt she didn't have a place in. Her typical cheery mannerisms bequeathed by untold years of feeling barely accepted, not elf, nor angel, she'd have no way of knowing what she truly was, beyond the reality of an unspoken outcast.

About 5 hours of sai, only thing I did in photoshop was add the text.
