I don't think I am going to do the engineering stuff for a long while as I am very busy with school

 

You should also be able to let them breed, i.e my idea would be to create a race of super mutants that would kill everything else on the entire planet and take it over and breed.

 

I love the idea! It brings out the whole Dr Frankenstein/evil genius feeling in me ...

So could you be able to test your experiments on plants and critters? See what happens when you inject/spray them with your bio-shizzle?
That way you can really get a FUBAR reaction and get tentacle raped (or just killed....) by a plant turned living!

Or something less extreme.

Engineering is tougher as it takes more parts and doodads for a player to actually create something.

but .... Tiy .... This NEEDS to be in the game ....

I like the idea, but chemistry should also involve mining to get the right chemicals! This could also work fairly well together with something like this
