    ==Assembly Stations==
These could be used to build the larger structures in a late game, such as the BioDome or player-designed Structures.
They would resemble a small building, big enough to contain a few Assembly Drones.
    Creation
They could be purchased from the Station Trader for quite a good sum of money, or crafted using a lower ranked crafting bench with some added circuitry, research and plating.
    Usage
They must be first placed on a flat area of a planet, and must then be supplied with the requested constructions' Blueprint, materials and some Assembly Drones.
    Interface
    • A Blueprint Slot -- To contain the buildings construction information
    • Building Materials Slot -- Maybe a 3 x 3 grid to contain the materials a building would require
    • A Drone Slot -- A slot in which the Assembly Drones would be placed, with a max of 5
    • A Strength Bar -- Only for the BioDomes construction, or some other construction that may require a Strength Stat
    • A Size Bar -- For the BioDomes construction, but could be used for something else
Assembly Station constructions will tend to take a few days to finish, as they will be very large. Though that can be modified by the number of Drones that are working on it and the rank of their parts.
    ==Assembly Drones==
These little guys will help you build your ambitious constructions in the near-endgame.
They could ressemble the Star Wars Scout Drones I guess, but the arms would be replaced with heavy-lifting 'mine-cranes' of sorts, and some welding tools.
    Creation & Drone Parts
They would be built in a Drone Assembly Unit, and would require a Drone Core, a Hull, Drone Tools and an AI Center.
    • Cores
The Cores would come in several versions, which would increase the battery life and Rank of a drone as the Core got higher in levels.
They would determine the Drones' Rank, allowing it to work on different constructions. A Rank A Drone could build all buildings, whilst a Rank D Drone could only build the simple ones, for example.
The Battery Life is pretty straight forward.
The Core versions would ressemble something like this:
Drone Core MK I : 25% Battery (25% of the MK VI battery) , Rank (D)
Drone Core MK II : 50% Battery (50% of the MK VI battery) , Rank (C)
Drone Core MK III : 75% Battery (75% of the MK VI battery) , Rank (
Drone Core MK IV : 100% Battery , Rank (A)
    • Hulls
It's Hull would modify it's overall HP and Speed. Tougher Hulls will give the drone more HP, allowing it to survive against atmospheric anomalies, or pirate attacks, though would impede their movement and thus their building speed.
Some Hulls, however, may be tougher and lighter at the same time, kind of like Carbon Fiber today.
    • Tools
The Drones would have the possibility to equip several tools, including very weak turrets to defend themselves if they require.
They must have at least one welder and heavy-lifting arm however, to function.
Drones could have 3 arms, maybe, the third one holstering a tool of your choice.
Tools would also have different Ranks, higher grade welders and heavy-lifers allowing the drone to function even faster, though would use up more battery. These would however slightly counteract with the Hulls speed impediment.
The Drones weak weapons would allow it to defend itself and maybe scare off some oblivious creatures, but in no way would they allow it to fend off a pirate raid.
    • AI Center
The AI Center would determine the Drones intelligence, and higher AI Centers would allow it to solve problems with ease.
The lowest AI Center, would, for example, not allow a drone to figure out how to remove a block that would be in the way.
It would also allow a Drone to return to the nearest Recharging Station, if the need comes.
    =Terraformers/BioMetriks=
Costy in resources, Terraformers or BioMetriks can terraform a planets' biomes within a set radius, which depends on the version of the BioMetrik itself. They are mobile, and can be placed anywhere on a planets' surface.
    Interface
The interface will differ depending on the BioMetriks' version
    • 1-2 Biome Module slots
    • 1-4 Trait Slots
    • 0-6 Plant Slots
    • 0-4 Egg Slots
    • A Terraformation Progress Bar
    • Speed and Range Information
Biome Modules will contain the information about a biome:
    Plains, Hills, Desert, Ocean, Canyon,...
Side note: Biomes will most likely be set to certain planets; meaning you won't be able to see, say, Deserts on a Temperate planet, or Ice Oceans on a Desert planet.
It will also contain information about the Mini-Biomes, which will be things like Mushroom or Flower Patches.
After each successful terraformation, the Biome Module, the eggs and plants are consumed.
The Terraformer or 'BioMetrik' will also require a source of electricity in order to function.
    Versions
(Traits are only available with a Trait Addon)
    • MK I - 1 Biome Slot ; 0 Plant Slots ; 0 Egg Slots ; 1 Trait Slot ; Low Range ; Slow
    • MK II - 1 Biome Slot ; 2 Plant Slots (1 Tree and 1 Bush) ; 0 Egg Slots ; 1-2 Trait Slots (?) ; Medium-Low Range ; Less Slow
    • MK III - 1 Biome Slot ; 4 Plant Slots (2 Trees and 2 Bushes) ; 2 Egg Slots (1 Predator and 1 Prey) ; 2-3 Trait Slots (?) ; Medium Range ; Medium
    • MK IV - 2 Biome Slots ; 6 Plant Slots (3 Trees and 3 Bushes) ; 4 Egg Slots (2 Predators and 2 Prey) ; 4 Trait Slots (?) ; Long Range ; Fast
All those statistics can be boosted with BioBoosters:
Radius Booster: Increases the Radius that a BM will reach to
Speed Booster: Increase the Speed at which a Biome is generated
Egg & Plant Booster: (Only functions on a MK IV, very costy) Adds more Egg and Plant slots
Trait Addon: Adds the possibility to modify the traits of a biome, such as it's Density, Humidity or Heat.
    =Bio-Spheres/Domes=
BioDomes are 'end-game' buildings, and can be built and used to replicate the atmosphere of a previously scanned planet, to allow it's plants and creatures to live as if they were on their own planet.
They will be extremely expensive, but will allow you to raise plants and animals that couldn't normally survive in your planet's atmosphere.
Unlike the BioMetrik, it will transform it's interior environment much quicker.
It requires another planets' information to transform it's environment:
    • A Soil Sample
    • Some Atmospheric Statistics
    • Some Plant and/or Animal DNA samples
Once those are aquired, they can be placed into the BioDomes inventory, and once attached to a Bio Regulator placed inside the BioDome itself, it will begin to transform the environment inside the BioDome.
The Bio Regulator is used to convert the BioDomes interior atmosphere to match the information of the given alien planet atmosphere. It could only be bought from the Station Trader, or researched and produced over time.
    Creation
To build a BioDome, you'll require some BioDome parts which are purchased through your Station trader, or crafted using (un-specified, glass and other stuff most likely).
They'll also require a large flat area for the construction and an Assembly Station.
The BioDomes' elements are to be placed in the Assembly Station:
    • The BioDome parts
    • The Structural Beams -- These will determine your BioDomes Strength; some atmospheres have a higher pressure than others, so you'll need a stronger BioDome to support them.
    • Some Assembly Drones -- Seeing as this is a big construction, you'll require some Assembly Drones to build it
You may also choose the BioDomes size depending on the resources it has available, and strength if you do not wish to use all the materials supplied for the Structural Beams.
The construction will last several days, and the Drones may require some recharging during that time.

I wasn't there for the whole thing, but I did have a bit of input at various parts. I would love to see this in game, especially the bio-domes and the drones.

This stuff is pretty cool. I admit some of this would go great with the stuff we have in Deltamod.
