Biggest WTF WAS THAT! Moment

When I used a matter generator for the first time in an Avian lab. It felt like it was an in-game cutscene!

 

Killing the UFO for the first time, then dieing because it crashed into me.

 

Brain trees.

 

the first time I experienced a sand landslide, my reaction was pretty much "WOAH WHAT THE HELL.... LET DO THAT AGAIN!"

 

I slipped off a ledge underground (sliding mechanics op) and fell for over 20 seconds to my death. I thought the game froze up it took so long lol.

 

Before the bird nerf, i was using double jump to dodge birds, right after the bird BUFF patch, i dodge with a double jump like normal, but this time he swoops and comes up at me from below... he does 45 damage and knocks me UP... and i mean up. atleast a screen and a half... the fall killed me.... I really hated that patch.

 

I was cleaning out my inventory, I like everything to be neat and organized. I beamed down to a planet and set a butt load of chests down and put everything in it. Now that I think about it I may have been remodeling.
Anyway had a brain fart and left the planet and couldn't find it again. Looked through all my files and everything it had all my weapons.

 

got killed by little happy jumping maple story style poop in one hit of course

 

This forum is giving exploration to go out and explore shit. Please tell me you collected those and put them in your ship.

 

I found my first Avian structure. A very tall temple-like thing with guards attacking me. I climbed and climbed and climbed and on the roof, right outside the door, was a female avian that looked very different. Maybe an NPC or someone to join my crew, I thought, right when some flying bird creature came from the sky and one shotted her.

Still not sure what that was about...

 

Running around a snow planet, searching for Snowmen to kill in attempt to get their sweet hat. Killed a few alien creatures and THREE of them went up, defying all gravity and just kinda hovered over to the side and off a cliff.

 

i remember being inside a huge sand cavern.. was like atleast 500 blocks wide. I attacked the ceiling. and the whole ceilling collapsed onto me and i was like getting sucked in to the middle and i had to dig my way out. buuut got heaps of ores from it... and sand,

 

Attaching a piece of cobblestone to fine sand and having an entire cavern collapse in response. I really think they should make it less volatile!

 

Unfortunately they just break and drop pixels.
Which is a shame because I wanted to make an above ground mini-village and re-enact Godzilla with my Floran.
I do wonder if there's going to be anything added in the future about those little houses.

 

Aww, shame they're just pixel-capsules with a different appearance. I would love to be able to scan & make those (and hopefully other scale-model tiny buildings, for the exact same reason as you, GLord.

It'd be even better once multiple Mech types are released - hopefully there's melee Mechs. My friends and I could duke it out in a scale-model city, King of the Monsters-style.

 

Sssstaaaab little housssseeeee ahaha. Shame that would have been awesome.

 

Or maybe they'll add a hammer that has a chance to drop from one that's just a stick with a mini house on it.

Yeah, I got a weirder biome. I'm underground when all of a sudden, the normal stone and dirt changes to bricks. Im like WTF? but keep diggin. Then I start seeing wierder stuff. Little houses they break into pixels, tiny lamposts, bales of hay... wierdest stuff evar. And there were these magic-mirror esc things that acted like the planetary boosts. Another wierd thing was that there were these straight verticle streaks of obsidian going from the top to the bottom of the map on it. Additionally, above this all was an erily empty old human camp on the ice. I have no idea what the world gen was thinking. I did eventually find a merchant who sold me bombs for like 10 pixels apiece. (bought 200 of em'), and a plasma grenade launcher....
