When I host a game parts of Starbound turn black after a short time, like 20 Minutes. At last I can't see what I am doing. I have to complete end the game and do a restart.
I have no problem at all when I join a game or play in single.
I have no have FPS problems (mostly around 30Fps) and alot of mods.
    Here is my modlist : https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/69343775/Starbound modliste.txt
My system is win7 32bit. Need PC specs ?

Here some screenshots to look at, for better understanding

    and I have another question.

    http://i1267.photobucket.com/albums/jj556/hevel1/Starbound startenfenster_zpsb7gggefz.png

My friend and I figured out that he has deffernt options for starting the game. (He has Win 7 64.)
I don't have the option for starting the game in 32bit modus nor do I have for starting the mod uploader tool.

Maybe I don't need the extra option for start Starbound with the 32bit option, because Steam knows what to do.
But why don't I have the option for the mod upload tool ?

    Thanks for your help! :nuruhappy:

    First issue:
Looks like a memory issue. What are your full specs and we need your starbound.log file.

    Second issue:
you already have 32bit OS, so your option is only the 32bit version of the game. Your friend has the specific "(32bit)" option because by default it will run the 64bit version. So naturally you will not see this option.

Holy... mother of god... Your log file looks like a damn neutron star. 157000+ lines, most of which are pertaining to errors. THAT is a serious problem. I would look into that first. Looks like it has to do with rotting food.

Thank you for your help and time! :3
    What to do now ?
The mod Fresh Fruit (no rotting food) cause errors ? Maybe I should try another mod instead?

I hope I don't have the need to delete my chars. Or my shipwreck-basis I build on for weeks...

If that is the mod causing all those errors, then disable it and run the game again. See if you can reproduce the problem, then post your new log file. Note, not the ones ending in 1 2 3 4 or 5, just the one that is starbound.log or just starbound.

We need to eliminate all the errors to make sure it isn't a mod problem.

I'd de-subscribe the mod fresh fruit now. seems the author of this mod have abandoned it. (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=730936263&searchtext=food)
I'll later use another mod for food.

While the game was loading I got a error message.
but at the second try the game started well.
We can't reproduce the glitch because the other person can't join me. Every time he teleport to me or short after he join my game his game get error and disconnected. But no crash. He kicked the fresh fruit mod also.
Here's a screenshot of his error message: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=828927076
I'll get his starbound log later too and will post it if you want it.

    Here is my new starbound.log.
Is it the right one ? I'm pretty unsure about because all starbound logs have ending in 1 2 3 4 or 5.

Edit : He was able to play with me now. He hadn't some mods in his mod folder. I wondering why this wasn't a problem with the fruit mod installed. He have now the missing mods and we now play with another food mod. The graphic glitch is still there. Here is the log with the graphic glitch.

You need to post just the "starbound.log" NOT "starbound.log.1" or any of the ones with numbers. Those are backup logs and are not current.

Whatever mod "marinepop" is from you should disable too.

    This one is hopefully right.

marinepop is from the mod Super Starbound Peach & Daisy and is the yellow submarine. Maybe its a old error ? Because there was a player who spawn it in my ship and disconnected. so I couldn't remove it and it was in front of the shipfuel. I'd deinstalled it - started game - and installed the mod again.

Your Vespoids mod seems to be REALLY outdated too. It has recipes requiring steel bars, and the game hasn't had steel in quite a while.

Additionally, you are getting a lot of "OpenGL errors this frame: GL_OUT_OF_MEMORY" errors.

Can you run a Dxdiag and post the information? (Just information about your computer, nothing personal, honest)

It will only update if an update is submitted. The workshop does not guarentee the mods you download are compatible with the version of the game you have. It could be that mod just has old data in it, which would make it quite sloppy.

Anyhoo, it seems like your biggest offender is the yellow submarine mod. Outside of that, I can only guess it might be related to running 32bit instead of 64, which I know isnt an option for you. You do have a LOT of mods running, and the game is capped at 2GB of memory.

It is possible. The game failed to properly generate the mission instance.

It has to load it into memory along with the game itself, so if you max out on memory, then it will fail. The game can easilly take over 1.5GB of memory and the 32bit version can only access ~2GB.

One thing you can try, though not exactly the most ideal, is to disable ALL of your mods. They take up memory too (Not talking hard drive sapce, but RAM space) when you load the game, so if you strip those out it might lower the game's memory usage enough.

I wondering why now Starbound have problem with it.
But good news I was on Multiplayer and here it was possible for me to go to the Floran Mission.
I am not sure what is better. Allways need someone to host for make mission (hopefully only this mission. wish me luck!) or play without all my favorite mods.
I can create a char without mods, just for test - but I an not sure I'll be happy play Starbound with this.

Dear Lazarus :) I thank you for your answers! you helped me alot :nuruflirt:

Yeah, multiplayer will work because it generated the mission instance on the server rather than locally. Same for planets. Though note that your progress is tied to the server universe, not your singleplayer universe. Do the mission then go back to single player to complete the quest so your universe gets the credit for it.
