Giant Flower sub-biomes, typically found on Jungle planets. I don't have any mods on my game.

If you're lucky they'll also have Flower Chests with blueprints for Flower Furniture, like the bed and lamp seen here. (Not seen here, the Flower Table & Chairs on my patio, or the Flower Doors throughout the treehouse.)

By the by, since then I've expanded Slumberdome just a bit... and added some farmed dirt on the west end of the room for to grow Oculemons in case of midnight snacking.

First off, "Slumberdome" is an awesome name.

Second, I like your slightly-more-modern take on the standard Floran dwelling. Looks like a place I'd love to live in IRL.

Well, that kinda came about from something I rarely engage in, the "OC" as the kids call it (with their hula hoops and their tight pants and their smartphones and their imagining dragons and their rizza-razza). Mah SB character kinda grew in my head AS a character, and part of that is "ravenous assimilation".

Not Borg-like, but a deep-rooted (hah) fascination with how all those not-plants do things and incorporating that work into making better stuff with a distinctly Floran touch.

Part of why I'm really looking forward to that reed furniture and whatnot.

Makes sense. How else are the Florans to learn new and better ways of stabbing? :D

In some ways it does seem like this would be a natural attitude for a plant-based lifeform. After all, plants tend to incorporate their surroundings as they grow. It stands to reason that intelligent plants would do it on a slightly larger scale.
