Sure.

 

After second inspection it turns out that automatic doors don't work very well with horizontal doors. I've talked to the author of that mod and it can hopefully be solved soon!

 

How do you get horizontal doors

 

You need a gap of 4-6 blocks, then hold your mouse on the left end of the gap.

If the mod is installed on both client and server it should behave as well as any other mod.

I'm running into some problems; specifically, when I said to unpack your mod, it only produced a file.modpak

Also, it's not actually doing anything in-game. No horizontal doors, no shorter/taller doors, etc.

 

You put the modpak in the mods folder.

The horizontal doors, shorter/taller doors are all the same objects. They just change depending on where you place them.

 

Just the modpak itself? Huh... that's completely contrary to every other mod installation, but okay, you're the one who made it.

Well, alright, off to see if this works. I hope so, because horizontal doors would be really useful.

 

Quick question for you. Does this default all doors to use your horizontal doors or did you add in some code for each door? I ask cause the server I'm on uses a race mod that adds two doors wanted to know If it'd default those to use your setup.

It needs extra code and sprites for every door, so modded doors won't work unfortunately.
