That would make sense, but Skippy said "but decided to keep it to themselves to piss people off". And I asked him why they would ever do this to piss people off.

 

Omni can be quite the troll, his fake trailer caused me to wake two people up from deep slumber to watch it, only to then realize that it was a fake.

Charr < Sylvari. I'm sure one thing we can agree on is that WoW<Any other MMO especially GW2.

 

That would be a prediction, similar to the "Summer 2012" and "End 2012/Early 2013" speculations.

They don't really want to make a release date until they're sure it's going to be released on the day they mention it will be.

And I suppose we might be able to agree on Charr, Sylvari, and Asura > Norn and Human.

 

Sylvari FTW! (They're my favorite too.) Naturally I did connect them with the Florans immediately, but their backstories and general social customs and everything are drastically different, especially since I was worried they would be too similar. Actually, that's something I really like about what we know about this game so far; the genre associated with each race doesn't really seem appropriate at first, but it makes it more awesome.

Yes, WoW is clearly the worst MMO ever crafted. Let's go into maximum hyperbole mode and turn a blind eye to all of the shitty F2P Korean MMOs so that we can laugh at little ol' WoW.

On topic: They are both plant people, yes.

 

Gotta say the Sylvari were not my favourite race in GW2, but the Florian are maybe 3rd or 4th on my list of chars to play with.

Or maybe everyone is just really excited about it and like children at Christmas (which we all were at some point) we jump up and down and say "presents, presents, presents" constantly throughout the month of November, leading up until Christmas bloody eve.

We ask "Where is the Beta" because we want it bad, people are going to keep asking until it is released. Least we can do is join the excitement and keep the hype going.

More hype=more sales for Chucklefish, which means more content and therefore more nomz for us to play with.
People who ask where it is are rarely offensive so I don't know why certain people can't just be nice about it.

I for one welcome the enthusiasm, but that's just my opinion.
