They would be quite different yes. Also we have no idea when in the day it is supposed to go online (like 12:01 on the 4th or maybe just whenever).

 

Id would hope it isn't some midnight release shit. I fucking hate that when its in the middle of the week. if you want to release on midnight Friday/saterday/ be my guest. no problems here.
But wont get my hopes up, I know its going to be released when im either asleep or at work.

 

Just your luck, right? Probably the same for me.

This isn't guaranteed by any means, but Steam releases are typically in the early afternoon for the US, or so I've heard.

 

Depends on where in the US. Remember that we cover three time zones just in the continental US. Usually Steam updates right around 10am Pacific time (GMT-8). I doubt they'd base the time the beta is put up for download on where Chucklefish is located, because Steam is the release platform - and Valve is just about sixty miles/about a hundred kilometers from where I live in the US Pacific Northwest (seriously, I could take a day trip to Steam headquarters if I wanted).

I just realized my luck is not to good with the release date either.

The good: I will have turned in my Spanish paper, it is study day.
The bad: I should be working on my final paper for the 12th, I should be studying chem 2.
