Throw some ice on your tits. Just because he has an opinion different than yours doesn't mean he's ruining the industry. There are many games I like that others don't like (even though they're clearly wrong) and many games I don't like that others DO like (because they have shitty taste). We all have opinions about stuff (even though opinions that differ from mine are wrong).

 

Eh I was excited for Wildstar until i learned its gonna use subscriptions. I think the elder scrolls one already started though but im not sure.

Wildstar did too, but I believe I'm getting in the winter beta

I don't mind subscription MMOs, considering they usually have better content, frequent updates, more dedicated community, etc. But you only have to pay for the first month, after that, you can buy a monthly subscription with in-game money

 

Elder Scrolls Online already started, yes. I have friends in it right now. Talk about a game that isn't pushing any bars, looks sickeningly generic for a game carrying the Elder Scrolls name. Then again, Elder Scrolls itself has started a sort of downhill tumble so perhaps it's fitting.

At any rate, STARBOUND BETA?! WHAT?! WHERE?!

My new computer arrives on Friday. I will play 8-bit games on maximum resolution. My body is ready.

 

I swear, once the game is out, my social life will slowly wither away like snow in the sun.

well i might consider playing then, i usually take the merchant/crafting route in mmos. i dont mind subs either its just im already paying for FFXIV and i dont want to have like multiple things yknow.
although i might stop with ffxiv, its not bad or anything its just i havent been playing it much. not for any specific reason though its just theres so much to play. and plus work blah blah.

Well it looks like the day of validation comes. I am of course thrilled about the announcement and delighted that its soon! And not the trademarked kind! I would also like to thank several of the forumites that I discussed the release procedure with me over the last week or so for helping me get out some ideas and supporting patience and understanding for the pending beta.

I sincerely hope that this event goes off without a hitch and CF can finally experience their day of triumph!
