Look at it this way. Now the only way it gets delayed will be because of Steam rather than Chucklefish. Though I am sure all of the lovely naysyaers and self appointed critics will jump at CF's throat for the blame regardless if that comes to pass.

 

I played Terraria quite enjoyably by myself for the first 40-50 hours or so... Hard mode bosses get entertaining
Also, not sure if I'm repeating anyone here, but actually having a date is making my patience WORSE...

If you had to stay on these forums and hear all the entitled whining, youd applaud his self control for leaving instead of just putting a hun to his head and pulling the trigger.

That said, thats why Ive been next to nonexistant here.

 

Yeah I was about to go to sleep when I saw Tiy's twitter update on the forum page and I kind of looked at it like 0_0, then I checked the forums and saw this thread had been updated, the slew of locked BTEA COMES threads, and then the reddit conversation.

Then I felt like Christmas was only a week away and prepurchased for my girlfriend, she only recently got really excited for it because she thought I wanted to be excited about this by myself lol. I'm gonna send her the gift code url on the 4th in a text.

 

You don't have to be on these forums. You don't even have to read the posts. Literally every piece of news you find here can be found on Reddit or Twitter. If you want to get a message to the devs, it's even easier to do so on those mediums.

That being said, a lot of people on here are nice to talk to. You can even actively ignore the people you don't like.

if the thing will be on steam, im curious to know how they will "hand-out" the beta to those who pre-ordered on theire pages

With a steam code. They will give out to your email and you redeem it on steam Then it starts downloading

 

I'm decently sure we will receive a steam key in our email along with a download to our drm free version.

 

I don't think there will be a beta Drm free version. Only a steam version for the beta.

Or thats what i think i remember them saying.

They discussed their different options, Steam was one of them (I don't think they've confirmed which they will use)
