So, was anyone else bummed that the November update thing didn't have any beta talk? I mean, if you have seen any of my posts, you'd know I'm all for being patient and waiting, but there was a lot of hype about beta in the daily updates, and that hype kind of bled into the November update (something I've never seen before, usually those get added early), and I really figured we would get a release date announcement...

Sorry to be 'that guy' but that is sort of disappointing...

Devs do what they have to do, but darn, I had my hopes up on this one

EDIT: Just saw all of Molly's tweets...sort of a few hours late, was waiting to intently for the update to notice I suppose.... but still.... darn

 

I did have a couple of days of doubt about 2013 + beta/full release, but they're gone now.

 

i dont know how to surpass the time anymore T.T

 

They are losing a great chance to carry on with the momentum but.. Their loss I guess.

At this point a lot of the pr damage maybe done and just irreversible. We didn't even see five pages of excited people here like I thought, the reactions on the news thread where mixed, and reactions elsewhere .. where more to scoff and ask if he actually released beta or if it was more talk.

All in all not a good set of responses. So your are far from alone.

 

I had a dream last night that Chucklefish said the b-word would be released on the 17th of this month. Let's wait and see if I'm psychic.
Also in the dream they mentioned that one of the developers was getting married. Foreshadowing? :0

i'm expecting an announcement about stem beta on the 11th.

so guys what date this month is the date you think tiy will announ's the date beta will start?.

 

I think the beta will start near the end of the month .

 

Yeah... Beta probably won't be here until at LEAST the 15th of the month. We don't even know if Chucklefish has had any prior communication with Valve about getting the beta on Steam's Early Access. If they haven't, then that alone could take a bit of time.

Nope, it'll be April-May period. For full release.

 

If you mean April-May 2015. I can easily see Starbound sticking around as a beta for over a year.

 

I cannot wait for the StarBound beta to be released!
