The preorders are at 1.97 mil right now. They're probably eating caviar while coding.

Maybe they will release beta when it reaches 2 mil... or when they finish their caviar

 

Doubt that they would get another 30 thousand in 2 months, considering most people who are interested have already bought it.
When they finish their caviar? They have maids who feed them that, they don't need to use their own hands. We're talking about 1.97 mil here after all. All the developers sit around a large table with a maid in the center, spoonfeeding each and every one of the developers with caviar. Common sense!

It would be appreciated if you guys could be consistent. Is it definitely out this year or estimated? You've said both.

 

I may have accidentally slipped out the "estimated" word, but I've meant "definitely", quoting the developers. I don't remember if it was Molly or Tiy that said it.

Caviar is gross.

 

Depends on a person. Vegetarians think that meat is gross and cruel. Some people can't stand eating animal organs. I, for one, love caviar, especially with white bread and some butter.

 

I, for one, prefer my white bread and butter slathered with pig hearts and rocky mountain oysters.

Doesn't change the fact they haven't fully delivered anything on the lowest tier yet, and beta will be a third of what was promised on that rung. Also beta will not be complete, otherwise they wouldn't have to release it in 2014 and they wouldn't have held off on it this long. Also several features have been marked out that where stated as being intended to be in, for post release content.

Also try not to derail about fish eggs guys. It's obvious Tiy purchased Big Ben with all that money.

 

If you're promised 10 g of gold, 3 g of gold and 1 g of gold, in that order, then how much do you have after getting the first part? 10/14, which is about 71%. You can compare it to beta(10 g), full game(the other 3 g) and the soundtrack(a mere 1 g). It's not 1/3rd.
To continue that same example, then as you can see, the beta has most of the content, the full game will be adding a rough third. I hope you get my meaning with these crude comparisons.
