i don't remember anyone leaving an estimate date other than "2013" so i guess you'll have to wait and see like everyone else.
alternatively, you could ask a dev in the IRC.

anything past 2013 would cause the greatest shitstorm of our time and they know it.
regardless though, they seem really dead-set on getting beta out from how many times they've mentioned it in the past week.
i'm pretty excited.

yeah, i read that as well, but "maybe" isn't accurate enough if he's giving an estimate.
imo, it means that he doesn't really know if it is ready or not.

 

everybody has a different way of saying later soon or maybe for some people maybe means no for others it means yes so I'm probably starting a mini shitstorm but when they said maybe they could have meant no or yes but we don't know their way of saying maybe because maybe they were talking about it so much because they are just as excited as all the people on the forums

 

i'll agree that 'maybe' is pretty vague.

Yeah, I'm so dumb that a video game publisher pays my salary. Just because.

 

The beta is not free, but it will be available for anyone who orders the game. You can pre-order once the beta begins and still play (just clarifying that point). It's not one of those "You missed the pre-order, now you have to wait for full release" situations.

Yeah... Maybe Tiy was right about saying maybe, and what he meant was probably sooner than later. Either way, I would say we have about a 50% chance.

Do we know if you have to pay more to get into the beta after it launches, I really can remember the answer if there was one, figured I might as well ask because someone might want to know. Personally I'm just curious.

Thanks, I really couldn't recall since the last time I really looked it up we when I preordered and that was back when they thought about closing orders after beta started.

 

I know lots of dumb people that work in the gaming industry. Just because you can get a wage packet as a desk jockey doesn't mean you are smart. Also, working at a small start-up doing mobile casino games falls under the "working for a video game publisher" category. You impress no one.
