Wondering if there is a consensus on what the best food would be for stamina regen based on how easy it is to either find/cook the food. I've just been mass cooking Sashimi so far as it gives a decent amount of stamina (75) and also adds a point into mining which has been helpful since that's what I needed the stamina for; the mines. Anyone got any other suggestions?
I would be curious for good suggestions as well. I have been eating whatever vegetable I grow a lot of or fruits I gather. I know it isn't very efficient.
Bean Hotpot is made with two green beans (which are easy to grow in large amounts) and restores 125 energy. Eggplant parmesan is a bit harder to make (eggplant + tomato) but with a bit of foresight it's no problem. It restores 175 energy and gives a +1 mining and +3 defense bonus. Cranberry sauce just uses cranberries (which can be grown in ludicrous quantities since each harvest yields more than one berry and it regrows) and sugar (which can be bought at the store) and it restores 125 energy and give +2 to mining. All of these require grown crops, but are still very simple.
So stamina regen no longer matters for me because as you get deeper in the caves you have to worry way more about health regen. And when you are regening health your stamina will go up.
I would say whatever you have laying around unless you're after stat boosts. Pretty much everything gives massive amounts of energy.
All cooked food restores health directly proportional to their stamina restoration (health restored is equal to 40% of energy restored, to be exact), so all high-stamina foods are also high-health foods.
Of course, but some foods aren't worth the hassle of cooking, if it requires out of season crops or fish, just because it gives you higher health or stamina regen. I was going with Sashimi because it gives 75 Stamina and can be made with any fish from any season or location. Very easy to make and gives a decent Stamina regen. Looking for similar recipes as I really don't want to go through the whole Cooking recipe list on the wiki and figure out which ones are easier to make than others.
