This idea is simple. Upon looking at a gear, you would see a button labeled "Edit". Whenever you push this, you open up a picture of the gear with an interface like MS Paint. Now where ever you click, you add an actual pixel to it! Pixels would improve certain attributes such as damage or speed. This would visually edit it too. So shades of red pixels added to your gear adds chance of fire damage (Or something). I think it would spark a lot of creativity in players.
So basically like you can in Cube World? I don't think it would really work and yes, it would be nice to customize your gear but I don't like using another person's idea.
I like the idea of customizing your armor, but I don't think the way it looks should affect the armor's effects. Other than that, it's a pretty good idea.
What's to stop me from, say, swinging around a giant multicolor dong that's in the most contrasting colors possible simply for the power-ups?
Misunderstood the thread, not quite sure where they said there will be different color pixels... How would it change the look? are you mixing pixels the currency with pixels the drawing thing?
I was thinking you could use one pixel, choose the color, and wherever you click on your weapon it would be added. It would also add a small effect based on color.
Nothing. Maybe some filters or restrictions are to be used in multiplayer, but I haven't thought of that yet.
