BEE world

So I was just thinking about BEEs and it hit me, what's the best thing that could exist?
BEE WORLD, a planet that is a BEEhive (yeah I know they did that in Super Mario Galaxy)

Now, my thoughts are, wax-trees, honey for water, hives for hills, and instead of just having BEEs as the mobs, still use the random monster generator but with stipulations, add that they always have BEE wings and are yellow and black, everything else would still be random, I'm not sure how feasible this is, but it would be mad awesome.

Could also be a rare biome.

 

Now that you talk about it... Bees sounds FUN in Starbound. About the Bee Planet sounds , but the Bees in-game I didn't yet saw... They would be a nice "careful now" warning when exploring some things! I like it.

Anyway, I like the idea of a "hive planet" (maybe bees, or another species).

 

Sorry English is not my main Language. What I mean it's that Bees can add an extra challenge to the planets to be careful to not "poke" them. As traps do. ^^

 

that's a cool thing but...i think my butt isn't prepared for a giant swarm of bees trying to kill me because of the honey stealing

 

The question is: would it be a dangerous planet (like corrupted area in Terraria) or not?

Well, I have some things that interfere with this Realistically. Bees, in order to make honey, or thrive, they need flowers. Flowers, can not grow on hive material, and plants require water. To me, it sounds like there is no source of water in this world. Aside from that, it would be a good idea to add. Although, I should be able to take a queen larva home, and create a bee farm. Every cosmonaut needs honey and toast once in awhile, no?

 

Valid points, but they could just send drones to a flower planet, they are space bees after all.

 

maybe an entire world with a core like a huge beehive (thinking of the "living planet", where the core of the planet contains giant organs and the whole planet is fighting you)

 

I'd like to think of this as more of a rare biome of sorts. Wouldn't you agree? Honey Honey Honey Honey....

 

I like the idea of a Bee Biome. Bees are deadly if provoked, but the allure of honey might be tempting enough.
