Beds

I saw that you are able to make both iron beds and wooden beds. Since iron beds are more expensive, do they heal you faster, or are they just for a different color?

 

They are just for different colours, the heal rate is exactly the same for all beds

 

I've got a pile of hay on my ship. Exactly the same heal-rate as my tent I use for "away missions" and the beds in my apartment complex, and even the interrogation table I got from an Apex lab somewhere.

I feel like this is something that needs changed. As you said, some beds can get ludicrously expensive to make, and I've got glowing green tubes that could, in theory, be used like bacta tanks or some such thing to heal you even faster. Maybe this is planned, but for now, all beds heal the same.

 

for the record the heal rate for each bed (including tents and the like) is specified in its own item file, so differing heal rates probably is something that they have planned for the future
