As far as I understand. game explicitly prevents player from exploring during night. On my start planet it is cold at night, and there are lurking powerful beasts... and there is that during night it is actually DARK, and you cannot see very much. So, what any sensible character would do during night? Well, okay, that, but if he is alone? He is probably going to sleep in the bed. One benefits of sleeping is that time flyby fast. But in game nights are equally long, if you are sleeping or not. So can you make it so, at least in singleplayer (I understand that in multiplayer it run into obvious problems when two players are at same planet at same time), sleeping in the bed will cause ingame time to go faster?

also, please remove coal from list of things that can fuel your ship. Advanced interstellar FTL ship fueled with coal. You seriously don't see what is wrong with that sentence?

Whats the problem with the night? Set some torches and everything is fine.

This sounds like a good addition, yes. Perhaps just in your ship (where you're definitely safe.)

Play some music on your instrument.
    Browse the intergalactic web.
    Chat with friends.

Or, you know, stop being a puss, pick up your torch and keep going.. Night exploration's hilariously fun =D

Additionally, early game is SUPPOSED to be hard and survival based. ESPECIALLY at night. I wouldn't have it any other way.
