Beaming Down Just...

...Beams me down to my ship.
This happens at least 2 times before it actually teleports me to the planet.
Sometimes it doesn't happen at all, though.
Does anyone else experience this??

 

Popular bug that people are getting. It has been reported.

 

I'd also like to add that I don't believe it's related to computer specs. The (small) amount of testing I've done shows that it has nothing to do with how long you wait for the "planet to generate."

 

Someone mentioned something about the planet still being generated so, before it ports you down it kind of wants to finish the planet first. Thats just roughly what I remember.

Edit: Also, I've had times where I wasn't even able to get onto a planet at all.

 

That was a hunch by someone, and I believe it's not true. but maybe we'll eventually find out

 

I've also had times like that, but saving & quitting then continuing and beaming down again ends up working.

 

The whole "Planet is still loading" line may be partially true, but it's definitely not the whole problem.

I can putter around in my ship for a good 20 minutes before I beam, and still get the beam bug.
