Orbital Drop Beacon: Place for a one-time use spawn point. Bacon: Cook to lure anything within smelling distance to your location. Waypoint Beacon: Deploy it to notify all allied players as to its location until it is destroyed. Comes in 23 different Eye-Jarring colors for every occasion! Supply Beacon: Calls down a dropship to deploy a Waystation at the requested point. Resupplies basic ammo types and regenerates health for players standing within the radius. (Waystation(Structure): Called down with a Supply beacon, comes in three varieties, Medium, Large and Extra-Large. L comes with a 2x2 Auto-Gun and XL comes with a 3x 3 Auto-Cannon. Heals and resupplies all allies within range.) Teleport Beacon: When deployed, displays a radius of effect on the ground. All allies within the radius will be teleported to the next allied Teleport Beacon that is deployed. If either device is destroyed during the deployment period, the teleport will not initiate. I like the ideas of things like a one-time spawn point, and also a resupply station. The only problem I have with this idea is the Teleport Beacon teleporting allies within the radius to the next beacon. Trolling would be made quite easy with these devices. All you'd have to do is place a second beacon over some lava and teleport all of your allies. Then they'd be the bacon.
Well, you'd have to be on the same team as the person with the beacons, or you wouldn't be able to teleport with them. If someone abused the beacon's usefulness like that, you'd simply not use their beacons anymore. Also, there is a delay on the beacon activation, probably with flashing lights and such, so you wouldn't just walk into one by accident at just the right time.
