    Welcome smart and ugly Illeo!
    What a curious introduction.

    Sadly, I wouldn't know if there's a demo.

thack you for replying, the forum looks active!
im curious and creative, i was expecting to find any demo to make some good modifications (mods)
im not really good in modding, but i like to try
i can learn things really fast, i hope.

can you tell me something about the game release date or what can i do to help the devs?
    ( i cant donate :c)

Game release is open and not really important, you can play and mod already and, what I have to point out especially:

almost no games are as developed and enjoyable in their early beta stage as Starbound is.

I don't think you'll find any games that have demos which are openly moddable.

It's like what, $14 on Humble Store? Considering I've got near 100 hours play time, I'd say go for it. There's also usually competitions to win a copy in the competitions section of the forum so you could try your luck there.

Other than that, welcome to the forums.

thank you everybody! such an active forum looks so cool! im not really crazy, if you want to know ( theres no problem to want the others to be happy c: )

i have a little question, in these competitions ( to get a free "copy") what shoul i do there? i dont really imagine a competition of a game that i could win for not having the game '='

Welcome to the forums man! :D

And as some of the others above have mentioned, there isn't a demo version out currently as it is in early development. There will likely be one after the full release, but for now the only way to get your hands on it is to grab a copy for yourself.

Hi there! I haven't found an early access title as enjoyable to play as this (well, rarely). Bite the bullet and jump on in!

The only 'free' version I have heard of is an outdated version with no multiplayer at all (pre irritated koala I think) which can be pie-ratted, but why pirate a beta game when it's basically on sale now until it's official release?

I say go ahead and buy, totally worth the $45 you should be paying.

i have a little problem with my internet , its slow like the h3ll itself, whats the size of the file?

(whats the use of downloading the game if i have to wait weeks to download it? :c )

btw, i dont really care for multiplayer, i like building and battling, what i do very well :D

Currently, the directory I have is 2166 MB, mods included, so it's a little less than that. What's it translate to? MATH, that's what.

EDIT: Multiplayer is still worth it. Space get's lonely at times.

Then I have a question for you: This is the begining of 2014, and you do not have high speed internetz, y u so behind?

It's kind of a requirement for downloading games through Steam and the like that you have a stable High Speed Internet connection. Unless Chucklefish decided to release hard copies for direct installation, you're better off upgrading your internet services. Trust me, it WILL be worth it.
