[BBTS] Bronies Beyond the Stars V4.0

Come on, everypony... it was looking so bright for a moment and then everything suddenly became sielent again...

I have quite a lot of stuff to do (maybe that's the reason I'm interested in social contact more than ever)... writing a programming class mid-semester test tomorrow and weekend is looking grim as I'll have to work the whole time on my programming project that is due to Monday and spend the rest of my time on software engineering projet that is due to next Sunday... I should get a consultation in the week, though, so I'll have to get it ready ASAP and hope there will still be a spot left... the next week is looking not looking great...

I also met a person on tumblr, who turned out to be Czech as well, funny how small can the world be...

I'm good! I have no idea how much I slept last night, though. I remember not being able to fall asleep for ages, then it was 40am, then at 50am by computer turned on from hibernation all by itself. I must have slept at some point in between all that, and then afterwards I fell asleep again and woke up at like 11am. It was weird.

In other news, I'm getting quite a bit of writing done for NaNoWriMo (although I'm still behind), and I've also managed to do some drawing. Also I've been doing some planning and map-drawing for a Pathfinder campaign I'm GMing for with some friends. Our next session is tomorrow, and it should be lots of fun!

 

You're doing software engineering too? Nice. I kind of like it, but I was talked into doing it because my parents thought it would be economically viable in silicon valley. They're right, but now I'm sad and always thinking that I could be in an animation class learning to do what I've dreamed of for a while now.

Otherwise, I'm good, I just got back from a personal hiatus so there's that. I'm going to go posting more often here, so you can guarantee at least a post a day from me(starting now at 7:44 where I live).

Ok, I haven't watched the Hoofield and McColts episode and I want to ask a few questions: Does someone die? Did we find out someone's sexual preference? Will Spike get off his ass and do something productive? Why do I like Cadbury Flake? Which would you rather be, a dude or Bruce Jenner? I feel like all the answers to these questions will be no.

I'm having quite a busy week... I apologise for not posting more, there still a project I need to finish due Sunday, before I'll have a bit more freetime again...

Well, the fact I was even able to use the tablet properly seems like a progression to me... when I used it for the first time, I could barely draw, but that was mostly because I couldn't draw with traditional pencil very well... I was quite surprised to notice that I actually improved, as those months I focused on sketching during Summer holidays payed off... I don't plan on stopping now, that's for sure, as I started enjoying more than I expected

Thank you both for the support! I see you checked out my deviantART I would have made all pictures full HD, but the basic version of SketchBook doesn't allow changin the canvas size... Tia was the first picture I drew with the Pro Membership - that's why it's full-sized...

... I started adding more detail to it, yet didn't manage to draw the eye properly... when the provious ones were just sketches, it was acceptable to left out the eye, now as this looks like more of a painting, the lack of eye makes it a bit disturbing... I focused my learning to head overall now, will see what I'll be able to do with it

... also during some of my (frequent, ehm...) breaks, I started going through @Mercury Gilado's stories... I'm not sure if she shared her Google Drive here before, and I'll leave it up to her to do so if she herself decides to... but I've been enjoying it quite a lot, and I'm only at the beginning!

EDIT: Also, I'll have to hit the hay... it 3 AM already...

While you're there, I do have a slight request...could we see the sketch versions of the other ponies as and if you continue with them? There's a nice feel and impression to them, whether or not they're unfinished.
