In terms of a giveaway, what would everyone be interested in? A competition or a lottery? I'm guessing the prize would be a steam game (at a lack of any other ideas).

If you're interested in making a giveaway, I'd recommend looking into humblebundle... it basically offers most fun for least money and supports charity...

 

I double this, we can also get a lot more games out there this way, like.... 50 if we hold a giveaway every few months, Either whole humblebundles, or single games. There's also https://www.bundlestars.com/en/ as an alternative.

I've actually got a few unused game keys (mostly crappy ones, I must admit,) mostly from humblebundle, a few on indiegala.

I'll see about putting a list together.

 

I have a spare copy of Awesomenauts lying around, if you want to throw it on there.

...Actually, I have an absolute TON of unused Steam keys from humble bundles past. Maybe I ought to make a list as well.

I have all the game keys unredeemed from "Play and Create with GameMaker" bundle... funny thing is - I bought it just for the GameMaker, but I got source codes for all the games... so even if I give away the key, I can still compile and run the game like nothing happened

I know those aren't like AAA titles... but maybe someone would be interested in playing these... as I said - the game bundle was centered around demonstrating the capabilities of GameMaker so those are the games created with it...

 

We can compile a list of all the Titles we have, And give away one each week.

 

That sounds pretty great! I like the idea of it being continuous... we could select one or two per week (considering how big the titles would be)... it would be even easy to make a program that would accept a list of all people that who entered and pick one winner... there's even a web site - something like truerandom.org, or like that which calculates a random seed based on cosmic radiation... if you take a value from this site at the moment of making a random number yourself, you can achieve numbers beyond our semi-random limits. This might just work! ... I might be overthinking it... well, whatever...

... I'd say we could also make it forum-wide, not limiting it to BBTS...
