You know, looking at this list... I really ought to update it. People have changed names, or left the forums. Anyone here changed their name since joining apart from Merc?
Well, my name is still Sparksol. I do find it odd, though, that I didn't get a notification about this. (I just check in every week or so.) ...and we seem to be posting old pony-related things. Okay.
Well if we're going to go that direction: [DOUBLEPOST=1446537692][/DOUBLEPOST] I'm thinking of making my name "_xxxPussySlayerxxx_31b56dicklover" on the off chance that I become bored with the name CrudMuffin. Here's some names I'd look at before that name though: Anything else.
I know what you mean, I think S'nowface Chamcham is in there Twice. The lack of Replies also shows how few people are left Oh and the Plushie Kickstarter got Cancelled, not like it matters since it would ahve failed anyway... but oh well.
Oh hi, we are trying to get the Clan back together, to make sure that we have some activity in here. And Prosaurus rex is now the leader.
Here is a list of people that weren't recognised by website in Igeloi's post: EasternDash S'now Face ArcusUmbra Doomhawk5 ShinxSphere Zanikan Irim96 Fanatic Panda TehWulfeh Ingwaz Bagel Galactic Midnswipe Skyler95Qc GravityFlux GhiodeonBakarian muzo xXRainbowcrashXx doomshield321 Acataeon Fibriel Soleae Niaflame I excluded Mercgilado, since we all know our bee They all fell for it... ... good... I don't recall many more people hanging around at all times... they usually occationally dropped in to chat and then left again for a while... we have to give it time... again, even now there's like thrice more people than when I appeared in the middle of Summer History... it's repeating... those were good times and they're coming back... ... and now that's you here, why not satying for a while?
I'v been Listening to megalovania for the whole day, not even to any variations... just the Sans version.
That was a nice read. I remember when we had to put our cat down. psst https://www.fimfiction.net/story/191808/the-hypocrisy-of-tolerance
Thanks! Come to think of it, haven't Shinx and Ingwaz been around here recently? What are their usernames now? Anyway, I'm wondering if I should do some sort of purge or something in the member list. Like, I'll make a list of all the people I think are inactive and post it, so if anyone is on there that you think shouldn't be you can tell me before I remove them.
I'm currently in the process of reading... and... it's really a matter of getting used to it... once you have few hundreds words past you, it's getting quite easy to read and comprehend (a random thing regarding things I discussed earlier)... ... hey, another one to speed up time with... now that I came to think of it, this is ideal thing to do during long boring lectures explaining topics that were already done in high school... I might as well browse through FiM Fiction even more... somwhow it got me interested in the reading once again... ... you know what... could you give me any recommendations what should I check out? You seem to have quite a wide overview of fanfics... I'm keeping Fallout Equestrie on my checklist... though, from what I've heard, I'd probably preffer something... less dark... @Ingwaz should still have this name (if you came, ello back, friend!) ... and didn't Shnix get renamed to Shinxy-Chan? But the last appearance says it was on March 25th this year... so that makes posting unlikely...
@Mercury Gilado I was actually glad the episode had a happy ending... both for the reasons it might have really as well altered the RD's character in a way it would be problematic to recover from, and for a personal reason that I actually take sad stories a bit hard... especially now that I'm living away from home for the most of the week... well, let's say things tend to be more... touching... than they should... ... but it was a great story nonetheless... thank you for the tip...
Oh, right you are. I wonder why he didn't get tagged on Igeloi's list? And yeah, that's Shinx's new name. I've updated it now.
The story made me feel, but the actual experience of such wasn't as bad as the story made it look for some reason. I'm kinda not right in the head. I stopped reading fics like a year ago, heh. That was one of the later ones I read, too. So my purview of fics is actually really small, but I still can rec some. How about Letters From a Friend at the End of the World?
Less dark ? eh? k~ I'll pick some of my favorites for you, I don't have over a thousand stories faved... like merc has but I still have some good ones in there. The Dragon and the force OF the Hive and It's Sequels are great. Magical mystery Oops is great too. You can otherwise check out my Bookshelf altouh not all stories are quite up to the ones I posted. Reading fanfictions is great for grammar too, my english improved by leaps and bounds after I started reading them. I think we should honestly clear the list once we make that new thread, most members are not even active on the forums anymore, and having an actual representation of our active members looks good. Speaking of that first post, I am kind of sad that all that money people donated for the clan went to waste, We need to get a hold of that paypal account, we could do a giveaway or something, I'm sure people would be happy about that....(It generally sounds like a nice idea to do giveaways, we could set up a donation pool and host some each time that we get a few bucks)
Saying you're "not kinda right in the head" makes as little sense as saying what art is good or bad... actually those two are quite related as they reflect our personality and experience. Everyone reacts to various impulses differently, be it said art of a story - some enjoy a piece of art, some dislikie it... some feel saddened more or less by a story, heck, some don't at all... it makes people what they are and honestly, it makes the world really interesting and fun place to explore ... I'm not sure what would I do if everyone was the same... ... also I find it important to note that the story was described from point of view of Flitter, possibly influenced by the autor's own feelings... that's why it was portrayed the way it was... ... also thank you for the tips... ... and thank you as well. I'll look into them... I read through The Hypocrisy Of Tolerance today during programming classes... I'm not sure what to think about those Slice of Life stories, for I really do enjoy them while they sadden me at the same time... like - I have negative feeling when reading them, yet I feel strong urge to keep reading and eventually find more of those... ... maybe because it's another fresh experience... and yes, I did notice just after two stories I had less and less troubles reading them - usage does miracles when it comes to language learning... ... and I will check the bookshelf, I might even make myself a fimfiction account even when I'm not really good at writing... just for the commenting and feedback
Also I made a decision... I'm gonna work hard to learn all theory taught at consenvatory... and in a year and 3 months I'm going to try to pass an entrance examination to get to music college... the specialization being composition... also I'd like to try to get bachelor degree from by current university along the first year of my new college... ... yesterday my room-mate was leaving for a day and I asked him if I can borrow his guitar while he was out... and he replied sure, why not... so I started learning guitar... it's truly amazing instrument, something completely different from what I've experienced when playing other things...
I once bought a cheap guitar, since I wanted to learn how to play it. But that didn't quite work out, I just don't have the grasp on music for that.
Nonsense! There's nothing as talent, just pursued interest - anything you are willing to practice, you can do! Trust me, I'm speaking from my personal experience Just take a song you really like or google something like guitar songs for beginners - if you're willing to start - and start playing chords. It will go really slow at first and you'll have to wait about 2-3 weeks, before the skin on your fingers hardens - pushing strings tends to be quite painful at first, but it will go away soon (this same applies to strings). You'll have to endure the first moments - it might seem you're not making progress and stop... I did it... luckily I realised that's not a way to go and same goes for you - and soon you'll find yourself cheering others up with your guitar plays! Guitar is the best instrument to play when among friends
