Hey ho, what's everyone up to? We have a first weekend after first shool week... so is everyone so exhausted and just relaxing?

 

I'm waiting till the end of September when college fall semester kicks in. Trying to hold down the fort here at home and clean up after everyone. I'm also getting sick from not sleeping so I'll be on and off here, but I'm waiting for the day when I can get back on track by "socializing" more with more bronies and pegasisters. By Pegasisters, I mean @Princess Cadence.

 

So... I just made a joke without realising that probably every single person here starts with fall semester... damn, we're getting old... I got so used to the situation years ago that I didn't notice those years to pass by...

... also, you'd better get some sleep... I used to care little about it as well... then one time in the middle of the night, when I still didn't feel like going to bed, though my school was starting in like 6 hours, I got curious, so I searched the web for articles related to sleep, and of course sleep deprivation... let's say that I do rarely sleep less than 8 hours since that night

 

I have Insomnia so i can't really sleep much. but I am Batshit insane and that means that i'm able to deal with it.

 

Wow... that sound troubling... at times like these I feel like I should do or say something to help... but I know very little about this illness or what could help with it... well... I wish you it would get better at least...

Now it will, but the engine was only granted through Skullgirls' crowdfunding after Fighting is Magic was about 75% done with the core game. (not including netcode and such)
Prior to that point, they used a generic freeware fighting engine. 2K or something, as I recall.[DOUBLEPOST=1441596880][/DOUBLEPOST]

Honestly, this entire month has been awesome. First off, just before September, I got to go to an Escape Room. Then, on September 1st (my birthday, mind you) I won a contest for a free entry to another Escape Room. I'm in a psuedo-virtual school catching up on credits, and am already almost done with the second semester of English 4. My mother got an office, where she will be hiring me to run a game club and Pokemon League every Tuesday and Thursday, and on top of all this, Super Mystery Dungeon is coming out on the 14th, and TFH is crowdfunding on the 21st. Needless to say, this month is already pretty surreal, and it barely even started.

I knew this place needed more Scott Pilgrim. Anyways yeah, sleep is going to affect college and work when I start up so I'm trying to fix it. I'm also really pumped up for that game "Mr. Flaming Smash Character Odd Numbers"(I knew I could make a joke about his name) was talking about. There's a lot of things I'm excited about now actually.

I have mixed feelings about the game itself, but I'm loving the Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, vibe coming from your drawing.

Really impressive, I understand that you were inspired by older art, but may I ask which ones specifically?

Hey, my new shotgun microphone just arrived! ... a small, simple (surprisingly with great quality) camera microphone... I wanted to get one for quite some time now, only last thing I have to do is to make a shock mount that I could attach to a home made boom pole... and why I'm making all this stuff? As a part of a LARP team, we're organising a annual LARP battle... I wasn't in the org team until this year and when I got a chance to make a trailer for the event, I immeadieately went for it...
Like, to this point it were all scenes filmed on a phone, later a GoPro... now that I got into it and started making a script, it seems that others like the idea too, so we made and epic story that we're gonna shoot next weekend... and I'm taking care of the audio and video editing... really, it's something I wanted to do for a looong time, but there was no-one to actually work with, since none of my friends were really interested... now I finally have a chance to try everything out and maybe even continue doing it, if at least some of my friends will find it interesting...
