I'm glad to see you again ... still... this place is way emptier than I recall it... what happened? Where is everyone?

 

I'm wondering the same thing and I don't know why.

Exactly... I've been here with two entire threads... then, after almost year and a half, there's nearly no-one...
...to be honest with you, I was really hoping to meet everyone again...

Well, time, and the fact that there's been no dedicated server for the Clan, but we've been discussing those things, as well as future plans for how the class system would work, and are basically waiting until the Story Update to really look into getting a Dedicated Server. Hopefully the founders will even return at that point! (well, fingers crossed, at least)
Until then, we've got a planned temp server that will be set up for the Colony Update (un)stable, and a Discord channel (aka. free, in-browser teamspeak/mumble) that we shall use once that happens. (though the text chat has been pretty well used so far)

Those are great news... and thanks a lot for the invite

... but still... so much has changed... I went back to see my first posts here... all this starts to fill me with sadness when I think back to times with friends... where's everyone? And especially TvK? Why is he gone and hidden under name Ἄνουβις? I hope he's alright... I recall he was feeling a little bit down at the time I left this place...

All of this... is little bit scary... when you come back and find only two people left from BBTS to say they're mostly gone... I really shouldn't have left...

It must be like that time when all the lotr cast went to the mines of Moria only to find that everyone was dead. They got all sad and thought that there was no hope, but when they went on, they found others to enjoy time with. So, I don't know. Maybe they're all ghosts lurking and they just don't want to butt in on anything. I'd certainly like to hear from them, but it's all good if they don't want to.

 

I think it's just that they are not longer bronies, like when I stopped drawing ponies...

 

Yes, I expected something different when I thought of returning... but it matters not. I'm here now, there are new people to meet and I actually start to believe there is still a chance they'll come back. What if... what if this thread became alive once again...

I'm not sure... it might have been the show that brought me here, but it were the people that kept me here... and in the end both you an I are proof that even those who might leave might as well return
I'd like to be optimistic, though I picked wrong time to return, for tomorrow I'm leaving for 4 days and won't make it to the internet... that scares me - what if all my friends will come back for a while and I won't be there to say hello? Or even worse - that they won't like to see me again... honestly I feel a bit like a betrayer for leaving and going sielent for such a long time...

 

Nah, if they don't wish to be here, it could be that they can't invest time for personal or familial reasons. If you don't draw ponies, then that doesn't mean you aren't a brony, right?

Don't worry. It#s not like we'll dissapear. The BBTS didn#t just stop being active all of a sudden. the lack of updates and content for starbound made things trickle own.
We'll always get a bit more activity when updates come out... and things have been picking up lately.
We are actually managing a few pages per week now. wich was extremely rare. I think there was a month where we only managed one page...
And i think the guys like @Spike @Mercury Gilado and maaaybe @Jonesy still visit from time to time.
The whole clan has spread out by now and you#ll find a lot of the old members in the other clans now.

And there's a one more thing I feel like sharing beforeI have to go... what was the last drop that actually made me come back... because, honestly, I've been thinking about it more or less all the time when I was gone (which means it's good I returned, right?)

This year's summer was exceptionally hot... the drought was just terrible... and then, several days ago the rain came and it was raining for several days. Suddenly the still warm air got that fresh and wet feel... it was just like Autumn. Autumn also was when I came here for the first time. at that time I used to walk to my high school every single day so I faced all kinds of weather and I connected those with all the various feels and memories... and especially that Autumn I started listening to all the tracks and songs from the MLP (because, honestly, the music is quite admirable). And then, when it finally started raining, it brought back all the memories once again and I felt like listening to it once more time... and the nostalgia... I could almost take a bite of it... at that point I just had to come back... and here I am, even though my timing is quite odd...
I doubted whether I should be there at the time I left... but now I am sure once again - I should... so be ready to see me again in 4 days.
