I thought at the end she was going to do a Scar, like G grabbing RD from the ledge and holding her hooves, digging her claws into the now bleeding stumps, then proceeding to bend her head toward hers and finally whispering into her ear, "Long live the king," thus throwing her off and finishing up Ashleigh Ball's contract with the series. The end. Or is it? After the incident, AJ is found dead, and Big Mac dons a black suit to fight crime with his sidekick Spike, together becoming the unstoppable daring duo!.. sorry, I've been reading too many Dark Knight comics on my spare time.

 

Brilliant plot twist! But let's not forget Pinkie's miraculous re-appearance through (some sort of 4th wall breaking magic)!

 

BigMac and Spike under the guise of the DarkApple and FlameBeard sneak into a quiet chemical making factory where a notorious villain is said to be lurking... I can't believe I took finals study time to write this...


"Hey, Jack, are you sure this is where AppleJacks' kidnapper is hiding?" Spike asked, dubious as to whether the perpetrator lived in the foul smelling factory.

"Of course I do, sightings report-" BigMac started, until a door creaked open on the other side of the thin aluminum bridge, a brown security stallion shining a bright light straight at the surprised heroes.

Just as bewildered as them, the stallion furrowed his brows and exclaimed, "Hey! What are you kids doing- By golly! You're not..." He gasped in awe at the stallion in the tight(and surprisingly non-sexual) suit.

The battle ready stud stood erect(which isn't a euphemism for anything) and responded, "Yes, it is I- the feared, Dark-APPLE!"

"And don't forget his trusty sidekick FlameBe-" Spike squeaked as he tripped over his cape. Damn it Spike.

The security guard had his stubbled jaw dropped somewhere near the first floor at the sight of the two. Recollecting himself, he finally asked after an uncomfortable amount of time, "W-what seems to be the problem er- sirs? And can you sign an autograph?"

Spike spoke up for his usually quiet friend, "We were looking for a certain-" But he was interrupted again at the sight of two canisters being thrown from different places, clanking on the ground next to the guard. "Get out of there!" shouted BigMac, but the canisters released the gas and pressure inside, spinning like dancers while spewing forth multicolored smoke and drowning the guard in a rainbow of color. The two immediately put on a pair of gas masks, and a few moments later, the guard started to laugh, his low voice now turned into a high pitched one. His laughter was slow at first, but it caught up faster and faster like a ball bouncing off the ground, the ball hitting it more frequently as time went on.

"Who's responsible for this!?" BigMac yelled through the dark mask as the guards' laughter turned into choking and fits of gurgled coughing.

An even higher pitched voice giggled through the dying smoke and said, "Awww, why so glum? I didn't hurt him or anything, I only made him SMILE! ALL THE WHILE!" The unmistakable cutesy voice echoed in the factory, accompanied only by the bubbling of the green chemicals in the open vats below. The guard though, was silent.

As the smoke cleared, they saw the guard on the ground, twitching with blood on the corner of his mouth, mixing with his saliva as it pooled around his never blinking, always smiling, head. Pinkie then rushed out of Spikes' mask, canisters in hoof, and laughed her crazy laugh, "I heard you say 'Apple'... I knew an 'Apple' once. She left me after my other friend, but they always smiled. SO WHY DON'T I MAKE YOU SMILE SMILE SMILE!"


What will our brave heroes do about Pinkie and her laughing death-gas/teleporting abilities? Find out on the next issue of... THE DARK APPLE!

(Although I'm going to do something for about a few hours with the family so yeah)

 

They only sorta-died. Or maybe they actually died and returned as some sort of zombie-forums. Either way we're shambling along once again.

I don't think they really sacrificed any continuity except for the Smooze, but I'm not sure if G4 takes place in the same timeline as G1 regardless.

As for other conversations: who's super HYPE for the next Fire Emblem game? Who here plays Splatoon and wants to play together sometime? Or for something a bit more general, what's you favourite anime? (Mine's ARIA. Avvenire hype-gondola!)
