I just watched the episode; it was great! I found all the characters' lines natural and not tense(sounding like you're reading from a script instead of how you'd naturally talk) this time around. I do remember a few episodes where that wasn't there. Anyways, I honestly thought that the references would be in excess or that they would be cringy(*clears throat* winter is coming *cough*), but it was spot on and didn't linger as if expecting the audience to take their time laughing, neither did it use one of them as a segway into the next part of the episode(*ahem* tanks for the memories). With that, it was better than expected since I automatically assign any hyped episode to be the worst as to cushion disappointment or to be pleasantly surprised when proven wrong. Scored 10/10 -IGN, Metacritic, Times, old cat lady across the street. Oh, and I have nothing against Tanks For the Memories, I just like to make fun of the Game of thrones reference they forced in.[DOUBLEPOST=1431850636][/DOUBLEPOST]All right, night guys. I can't sit at a desk editing papers for a few hours without sleep... Oh goodness...
I have not watched a single new episode of the new season still. I've gotten hopelessly lazy. Also, I see that Spike has spread his randomness out to everyone else.
Being equally lazy myself, I can see your predicament. However I can also tell you it's a dang good season so far, and that it's 100% worth your time watching.
Sooo the new episode... Discord was okay. Fluttershy acted kind of strange.Actually..so did discord... but he's discord. ..I couldn't stand treehugger and actually waned discord to... remove her. That kind of talking was annoying. And i can't stand it. he smooze was a bit of a dissapoinment. i expected a real danger but eh...
Hello all. Seems some would rather I stalk less and post more. Deez Nuts to you, I'm doing as I please, but to show I'm not totally nonnegotiable, here is this post.
I made a post here but apparently it was swallowed up by who-knows-what. Allow me to try and re-create it: Hey, Aura! How've you been? Video games games games? Games games video games video video games video?
I've been manageing. School is killer right now, and I'm doing that mental balanceing act between 'My parents want me to graduate, as does my family' and 'I really don't care about school, or graduation, can I just move on now?'
School's kinda important unless you've got something lined up afterwards. Stressful, yeah. But important. All I can say is what works for me: keep trying, even if you don't care, but don't push yourself too hard. Heey, that's cool. I'll not-see you around, then.
Dangit guys, those crickets are getting loud again. We don't all have to lurk. Or so I say but I'm probably going to be gone in less than an hour.
Hm.... so the new episode.... Liked it until Gilda did a complete 180. No, don't get me wrong, I liked Gilda, which made it all the sadder to see her personality change, and so fast too. One second, she was reluctantly agreeing to help Rainbowdash, but when she ditched the artifact for her friends, which is reasonable, cliche but nice, she turned into a non-tsundere who loves friendship. I think she could have kept her Tsundere nature and still cared, a little bit, about her friends; that's the gilda I knew.
I liked it all anyway, but you're right that it would have been better if she stayed tsundere. Also, worldbuilding! That was really cool, with the griffon's history and the goat-monster and even down to the clothes they were wearing on the trip there
"And who are you supposed to be!?" (muffled) "I served with you in Afghan' sir!" "Well then, I'm glad to see you do whatever you er, do private!" (Salutes) "I too am glad to see you sir!" (Salutes)
