Well... I don't doubt you, but: well igeloi, yeah, s/he's somewhat right- that's actually one of our lesser known bad habits(but you should look at the Japanese). Fun fun. I need to get some sleep.
Eh, I'm nearly dead inside from 20 project streak-might as well feel less dead by falling asleep. Well look at me talk.
Honestly, I wanna do a Cully McCullen and kill myself. Nah, I'm just kidding, I just want to punch my teachers in the face and say: "REPETITION ONLY WORKS THE FIRST 512 TIMES!" Then promptly get arrested and have no chance of getting into any jobs unless it involves getting Juan and Lao-Chan across the Indian Ocean. Night. Oh yeah, good to see you still have an erec- I mean that you're still here.
So I watched tanks for the memories(SPOILERS), and it was nice to see rainbow dash's ego put down by simple nature. I don't know about you guys, but do you think that trying to stop winter for your pet is extreme? I thought that at first, but when you think about how they're always in control of nature, is it unreasonable to think that a pegasus, the race most responsible for the control of the weather, and with one of the biggest egos should remove an entire season for her friend? I guess you could say no since they have rules regarding weather change, but she was born to break boundaries. It would also explain why the rest of the episode after the inevitable game of thrones reference didn't linger on all of cloudsdale being pissed as butts at her for destroying their winter machine.
Pegasus do control the weather with ease, but as evidenced in the episode, changing the weather is a monumental task that involves a mobile citadel, partially dedicated to changing the weather in order to change seasons. And rainbowdahs broke into that citadel. And caused minor to medium damages to the machineries. I am so surprised that the doubleWbrothers didn't make a comic about rainbowdash gettign arrested by the weather team. But to be fair, Rainbowdash only plotted to remove the weather; she failed spectacularly when she tried, as she brought winter to ponyville, and the machines really just needs some re-attachment in order for them to function again. So no, it's not unreasonable for Rainbowdash to think like that, but this makes me thing of her as a child, who fantasizes about impossible tasks, and fails miserably at executing them.
So...uhh...howdy guys. Just thought i'd pop in since I havent been on here in god knows how long. Not really trying to avoid you guys or starbound in general, just been super busy and a little burned out from starbound overdose when it originally became playable at all. I hear things have been improving though, so maybe i'll be coming back to it some time in the near future. Who knows?
I agree with her acting as a child, it is in her poorly written job description of, "Loyalty," where the only rules are sticking to your friends and pet(s) so closely that you would destroy the earth for them if it didn't mean that you couldn't watch Age of Ultron in theaters with said friends and pet(s) along with allowing pet(s) to gnaw on the hand of the one guy who said you couldn't have pet(s) in the movie theater. Anyways, I hope they make something that delves into the history of the cloud machine because it would be cool to know when natural ability met with ingenious engineering. If that ever happens, I'd like to think that the Earth Ponies had something to do with it rather than the Pegasi saying, "All right, so we have no crops to plant along with good weather and plenty of water. You know what? Let's make something who's only purpose is to speed up plat growth and moisten the earth which we usually don't live on." Hi! Yeah, I don't play but from what I hear, they're having a pretty good time to the point where everyone is trying to keep up with each other because of the time difference and all. I'm just here to chat and stuffs[DOUBLEPOST=1430877055][/DOUBLEPOST] Your optimism is just byoutful Simply byoutiful.
I'd like to think that pegasus relies on earth pony's crops to sustain their population, and they have long since lacked a resource to trade with the earth ponies, and so, they've transformed their sky fortress into a weather machine, in order to sustain a steady food supply from the earth ponies. Also dat song. It sounds so Anime but it sounds so right.
Exactly, I think that's(without checking any other forum) the suspected theory that everybody abides by. Heck, if I was used to drawing pones instead of people, I'd make a comic of it.
You have sleep problems too? I feel your pain, I have severe sleep apnea which basically says: "Hey brain, yeah, don't actually go to deep sleep but let him stay in an unconscious state so that he thinks he slept well until the end of the day when he wishes to kill himself." I hope you get better from it along with that other thing you said you had which I forgot about.
I think my current cycle forces me to sleep either for 3 hours or 12. Nothing else. It's really strange... So, sorry again that the server's been down as of late. Fans hit stuff, things came up, and yeah, I'm actually PDT right now, so I can imagine why majority of you are having issues right now. What I'm going to do is temporarily keep the server up as it is on my C drive, and switch it over ASAP. [strike]Mod discussion MIGHT be brought up and MIGHT be rejected for now seeing as they are nearly the same builds, but in the future[/strike], it'll remain Unstable. (Currently it is under the unstable build on the main launcher. Idk if there is a difference yet.) I'm out of the house as of posting this message, but the server should be up.
