@Midnight_Blitz gives the IP address via PM and if I'm not mistaken they're using this to connect. It's like Hamachi, but different.
As for the Mumble I assume it's given via PM too. I'm not actually in either yet... I should probably ask for them.

As for the Mumble, this is what you need to connect:
IP: mumble-us.cleanvoice.ru
Port: 46771

Nope~. Midi has his ports forwarded, so Evolve is not needed. (though I still recommend it, as it's very useful for playing Lan-only games online)
And yeah, we have a convo on the site for the server which contains the IP on the first post.

I think you misunderstand. With the unstable option, we would still switch over to the stable whenever it comes out. In the end, it's simply a matter of "do we want long-lasting mod support" or "do we want access to new features as soon as they come out". Stable-only is a perfectly valid vote, so don't let me discourage you if that's truly what you want. I mean, it should be quite obvious that if we go unstable that the server itself may be... well, unstable. Of course, I already chatted with Midnight about that, and we'll be testing each unstable for multiplayer issues before actually setting the server up, provided we decide to go unstable.

1. Yes, guys. Server's still down. Well, until I get results in.
Those results, if you missed it, are what server version we're using. I can't do both, and once I launch Starbound in Unstable, it won't revert the world nor any characters.
It's 2-1 with Unstable leading, so anyone who wants a say should probably do so now. I'm not accepting opinions after 9:00 PM PDT.

2. I'm not the only one who can distribute the IP via PM, @ProsaurusRex . Anyone in there is able to as long as the person they're inviting to the PM is a member of the clan.

I have the server open again right now in Unstable, so if anything is currently wrong, post here or in the PM. I'll be playing it some time tomorrow or something. Was pretty busy today.

Unstable is now unneeded since the stable build updated to the current version last week.

We're talking for in the future. And as I said before, we'll still be updating to the Stable updates with the unstable option. Really, that option simply means "as up-to-date as possible (without going nightly)".
Regardless, the vote kinda ended yesterday, so when the next unstable comes, we'll most likely be switching to it. (provided the netcode isn't borked)

As of now, Unstable is a build ahead still. Unstable updated right alongside Stable. Matter of fact, I was notified of a revision (not update) to Unstable last night.

Anyways, apologies that the server was down last night. I had to reset the computer due to a very random, very bad memory issue I couldn't correct (my guess is the driver strikes back...) and it was too late for my brain to work and remember to start it back up. It should be running now, though.

By the way, what time do you guys usually go on the server? I should really figure out when to go on myself, with timezones and all.

 

I'm usually a wild card, especially on weekends, but on weekdays I'm normally available between 5-10 EST. As to when I get on, I rarely do so myself. However, I'm almost always willing, and keep Mumble open as much as I can, so if you see me in the Busy channel, send me a message on Mumble and I'll usually get it.

 

First off, just know that even though I am PDT, I have a history of being on MMOs all night on Aussie servers (because US servers are barren).

Second, as for times, I'm going to be driving around town all this week in place of my father, so this week might sometimes be an exception. However, when things are normal, I wake around 5AM-2PM PDT and sleep at Whocareswhen PDT. Hard to wake, hard to sleep.
During that time, I'm free unless something comes up or unless it's Thursday 3: 30- 6:00 / Friday 4:00 - 6: 30. I sometimes just get on Starbound if I notice someone's on the server (as since I now have 4 monitors, I just keep it on one.)
Or... I just wait for Kirby.
