1. Apologies for the server downtime.
2. GTA is getting in my way right now. It's also why I had to take the server down. I was testing memory capacity, as GTAV seems to like hogging memory.
I'll probably join at another time, as another space game is in my queue in a sec.

Oh, and I'm just trying to figure out how I can get on the servers without getting cock-a-doodle-doo blocked by the dang administrator here, otherwise I would already be there with you.

 

Curious, if you wouldn't mind, could you try to access it again, close your Starbound, and then send the following file my way? I may be able to help a bit more if I can see the exact problem in the logs. Client logs are a cakewalk compared to the server logs. =_=

One alternative would be to hook up on hamachi with @Midnight_Blitz Should get rid of any firewall issues.

 

Hamachi is out of the question on my end. I have only been able to use to use Evolve and some other one I already deleted.

 

Really? hu.... People seem to have issues with hamachi a lot... i never had any in the 5 years i used it :/

 

The thing with Hamachi is it opens a port and keeps it open for as long as the application is running. Not many computers' network adapters like that, my own included. :/

Yeah, having a small amount of people can be a lot simpler and sometimes easier going, the old days were pretty hectic in that regard. Oh, and I'm already an old member.

 

Oh yay, another Veteran! I'm glad that you're here, I do like small groups, but I like diversity too. Anyways, how are you? I'm ok, in fact I've been working on a little sketch that I hope to scan since I realized my printer could do so but I threw away the printer instructions sooo... yeah.

 

Instead of leaving my computer on and unattended for an unknown amount of time (still no remote access), I'm afraid I need to cut the server down for the next week or so due to unforeseen circumstances.

I'll get it up as soon as I get home from the high desert, though. (If I don't, @firekirby135 or @Igeloi can remind me. I may be a bit out of mind.)

I've been great. Tired, but great. I've been doing lots of writing, recently - currently I'm working on the second draft of a novel (and I just finished a short story), if anyone's interested in reading. I'm going to try and get one chapter done a week (at least, when I don't have exams).

There's only two chapters so far but the novel can be found here. The short story is in need of editing so I'll post that up when it's done.
The first draft of the novel is there too but I'd not recommend it: It's messy and not as good as the second will be, so you'll just spoil the story for yourself.

I'd like to join if I'm able, just need to get a grip on the rank system cause currently its making my head swerve up and down and all around

also using the standard races is fine right, cause I'm on the current Unstable build and the Pony mod is not compatible with it

anyway I look forward to hopefully helping the BBTS cause once the server is back up

(most people here are on Unstable right?)
