New computer is still doing nothing, but I've managed to get the current stable version running on this old compy. Mostly.

I get a lot of slowdown in certain areas for no reason I can tell, and a ton of slowdown when I'm in the outpost, and the mission for the erchius crystals is utterly unplayable, but I do have one solar system to play in at least. (Darn it. Five desert planets and no rainbow wood at all.) But it's better than nothing!

 

Fun fact: The Wikis are currently out of date and in the process of being updated. Long story short, Colourful mini-biomes are now on Arid planets, not Desert planets.

Okay, that's fine then. At least I've still got a chance for those gnome-style mini-biomes. I know this because I ran across one and got a gnome hat and a house hat. Still no sign of gnome gun or large building hat.

Yeah... 'tis a shame. Especially now that the game's finally got it's major update.

 

So much for an actual guild. I wonder if that class chart will ever see usage.

 

I'd be keen if we did manage to get a server going. Playing with other people makes games like Starbound heaps of fun.

Speaking of playing with other people... Did anyone here get Monster Hunter 4U? Although I'm not sure I'll be able to play with anyone if they have region-specific servers.

 

I was looking forward to seeing that implemented myself. :/

 

Agreed. I've been on a private server, and Midnight here can vouch for me when I say that I'm absolutely spot on for Earth pony. Farming? Heck yeah. Mining? Absolutely. Building? A secondary focus, but... let's just say I'm the reason we HAVE a home base at all on our server. (everyone was pretty much holing up in their ship until I got the basic groundwork for the house done)

Oh, and for the record Midi, you know that multi-tiered farm I have next to the house? You know, the one that's gotten to the point where I doubt we'll be running out of crops any time soon? Yeah... should the server ever get a foothold... You've seen nothing, Midi. Absolutely nothing.
