I'll add you when I get home today...hopefully I remember... Edit: Holy crap, yours is the first one to finally work, coolies!
I'm borrowing the 3DS, so it'd be rude to just throw strangers on there. Oh well! I'll come back once I get a pink 3DS of my own.

Say, does anyone know what Miyazaki film this image is from: There's a Australia/New Zealand competition for a Miyazaki DVD pack, to enter you have to correctly guess what film this is from. I've only seen a few of the films, so I'm not sure which it'd be.
Say, what are your opinions on that coke ad? I haven't seen it, but I get what it is and I'm rather appalled by a lot of people's reactions. America is multicultural, isn't it?
It looks like one of the older films, but heck if I can tell. Could you link it? Eh, it's just the usual hogwash people always have about those things, you could get the same reaction anywhere else in the world.
As for what's so appalling: http://theknightofaura.tumblr.com/post/75444351889/a-wild-girlfriend-appeared#notes
They're asshats, simple as that. The commercial makes me want to buy coke more because they accept that the United States of America isn't just some one-sided state that only cares about one group of people, but many. People like them just set things back in progress and is one of the few things I really hate about this country.
Like I said, you can get the same reaction anywhere else in the world, but for some reason when Americans do it, it's like a million times worse. How come nobody throws a fit when people from France are racist? or when Japan does something racist? But a handful, a handful, of Americans act a fool and it's some kind of crisis. All in all, everyone is blowing everything out of proportion.
It's disgusting, to say the least. Though, do remember that they're the vocal minority. I'm sure that some Americans are just as appalled as we are.
Every American other than said vocal minority is appalled. And I'm glad that just about everyone outside the US agrees that they're being absolute scum.
I like how some people claim that they just want everyone to speak English because it's disrespectful to the song, or it's because we as Americans should be able to communicate freely, or we would be a true 'melting pot' if we had a unified language. I mean, everyone should just learn English! I'm pretty good at it, and I'm no linguistics expert! What's this about cultural identity? AH MONKEY MAN
Because of all the not-English in it. To some that's un-American and thus makes it insulting/offensive/whatever. Refer to this post for my take.
