No, it creates an "Adorable explosion" and everyone in a 10 mile radius that isn't considered adorable enough usually dies... If they're close to being adorable enough, they'll usually transform into more adorable things, such as kittens.

I don't think there is a loser, since for there to be a winner in adorableness there needs to be a judge of some sort, it's like the schrodinger's cat, if there's no one there to witness adorableness, it's not there. However, adorableness usually clouds people's judgement and/or causes internal inflammation of the D'aww organ through releasing of the so-called HNNNNNG hormone (also known as rainbow-moe-d'aww), which has been studied with little success.

 

No, that can't be it. Adorable is a fundamental force, and excessive exposure causes death. So an adorable explosion would overradiate all adorable things and they die, and only the least adorable things survive, like cockroaches or Luna. It's terrible!
