This. Caps and Download Speed can pretty much make uninstalling a commitment for a month.
I'm actually having to re-install starbound because it wouldn't go past the "Loading" Screen. FFS.

 

You haven't played it in a month, your qouta has already reset, not that it would matter as it's very likely you'll continue to not play it.

How do I not just get that during construction!?!?!?

 

I can't say for sure but a decent 5 mins of digging straight down should more or less get you to the level where shit tons of silver and iron resides.
I'm also not too sure if the amount of ore is determined by the planet's lvl as boboe suggested.

But I did managed to find ample silver to craft a full set of armor in my first planet. So I guess that's something.

 

WARNING: Shift-clicking items into a full chest deletes them. Managed to pack up my house made out of sci-fi mats I got from a dungeon, then made them disappear.

 

Sooo, I am curious... What's the status on a possible Clan server?

 

Not until the game is playable and stable for everyone, so not anytime soon.

 

The bug was fixed with the recent update.
Not experiencing any items vanishing anymore.

Updating Starbound

Ready to Launch in approximately: more than a year

Steam is really bad at approximating, really bad.

 

So, I was playing like a MANIAC, trying to get all the good gear and stuff before I challenged the Penguin Army. Fortunately, it seems that silver armor is enough to bring the UFO down, even if you are only using an iron bow (wait wat).

The UFO itself wasn't the problem, I found (my castle walls were up to the rockets and energy bombing woo!), but rather the bunch of bazooka penguins that decided to pile up against my door! Surprisingly, the door held, but I had to use the battlements to actually kill them.

All in all, it took me THREE FREAKIN DAYS of skirmishing to actually kill that jerk! I mean, sure I was trying to kill an advanced battle-ready starship with a BOW, but I still think that was tough.

Protip: Plant fibers-----spinning wheel----> fabric
Fabric ------crafting table------> bandages

Bandages are plentiful, renewable, and heal somewhere around 40 HP each. They now have a permanent place on my hotbar, next to my primary weapon and the matter manipulator. Wheat is a good way to get plant fibers, but (on my planet at least), there were these vine plants slightly underground that when harvested with the stone axe, give quite a bit of fibers.


When I saw what I could do with what I got from the UFO's steaming wreckage.... I had to shut down and start going to bed. Partly because its LATE, but also because the implications of those blueprints are so awesome, I need time to think.

Actually, the magical aura surrounding Tank's helicopter mechanism indicates that it is powered by Celestia herself! At least, thats the way I like it

Cloud walking spells were explored pretty definitively in that episode, Rarity got wings and cloud-walking but Twi had to work hard on casting that spell, but she apparently didn't break a sweat giving the other ponies basic cloud-walking sans wings. (see also: Lyra in Cloudsdale)
