Also, does anyone know if there's a way to switch your active tech without going into your inventory? I usually just use my energy dash one, but if I need to double jump up a tall cliff or something, it's a bit annoying to have to go into my inventory to do so.

 

Well, it's different for each person, I've only experienced two or three crashes, all of them not really affecting my gameplay. My main issue was not being able to start the game until I copy & pasted a DLL file.

 

Don't know, haven't found anything cool like that.

Starbound still doesn't work. Tried everything, and for some reason not even my windows 7 laptop will run it.

 

Is it crashing? Or is it just not starting at all?

 

When I tried my laptop, the first time I ran it got to the chucklefish before freezing. The second third fourth etc. didn't do anything when I clicked Start Starbound.

 

Hmmm, I don't think anyone has found a fix for that yet, sorry; did you already report it along with your specs?

That is just BS. I just used that Distress beacon, Thinking I'd then have some friends come and help or something. I'm Murdered in one shot by a Pengiue, And I Lost the Beacon.
I mean, WTF. That's Hard, and I only found 7 Silver ore, so I could make any armour or anything. I want to get a Laser gun and techs, and Yet The first boss is Hard as Nails.
How do you kill that thing?

 

I killed it with the upgraded bow, died like 30 times but i did it.

 

Fly to a different planet and hope that has more silver. You aren't limited to your first world like Terraria, you know.

 

Actually; my friends and I have beaten it. You have to dig yourself in a small hole while you can shoot at it; but it can't shoot at you. (Use an iron bow; it's pretty decent). Also you want to leave room in the hole to move around and I believe it can destroy blocks.

Game said I'm not going anywhere out of my starting planets, so, I'm usually confined to a Level 10 and my Starting level 1, and Level 10 is Nope. Them first quests are Tutorials, so I assumed that the rest would be tutorials, not a "OH LOL LEVEL TEN BOSS BATTLE HAVE FUN NOOB" Boss Spawner. And now I find I'm not limited in any way.

Got Hit by a Penguin teleporting down, Straight through the hole. I understand it's meant to feel dangerous, but That's just insane.
