Every fan of anything ever will say the exact same thing.

 

Because it's True of most of the things.

 

Not really, said person is just not as interested and is used to whatever it is.

You garner a fan base and at somepoint the potentional people interested in said subject will stop increasing and just decrease because they are no longer interested or care about said thing.

Quality rarely decreases in a dramatic fashion, or rarely decreases at all. The only times it would actually decrease is if no money is being made or money has corrupted.

 

The only time in the series that I can remember them mentioning pocket universes is the episode Hide, the one with a ghost in a house and there trying to figure out what it is.

They were also mentioned in the 50th when regarding the stasis cubes (they may have said "pocket dimension", but to my understanding, they're the same thing).

 

There was also that old one I can't remember the name of, where they're in an old house, and there's Daleks, and also old-style movie monsters, and a Dalek shooting at a Frankenstein's Monster and nothing happening. None of them figured out what was going on with that house, although after everyone left you could see what the deal was. Cheesy but good.

 

That would be "The Chase" episodes. That episode run was a total of six episodes, and it's in season 3 of the old series.

 

As someone who has never seen Doctor Who, this is all flying over my head.

 

I don't want to put unnecessary pressure, but if you like Sci-fi shows, as well as enjoy witty British humor, then I would highly recommend you give the show a shot. (if the first season just isn't doing it for you, I recommend you start with season 2, as the show's tone changes quite a bit after season 1 IMO)

 

Now you know how I feel when everyone's going on about fanfics.

 

British Comedy is brilliant, I love Never Mind the Buzzcocks and whenever they do the Big Fat Quiz each year.

It isn't so much that I don't want to watch it as that I don't have time to watch it.

I don't read Fanfics either though. I don't even watch MLP.
