First it wanted a password, then there was no server response. Something may be off somewhere.

 

If you're trying to log in with a Username/Password, don't? All you should need to put in is the IP. It's my friends server and I connected fine. >.<

 

I'm trying just the IP, and I'm getting no response. Let me reset my router and try again.

 

98.94.68.60 worked fine for me, though the server was lagging terribly.

 

Not sure why @King Glorie connected to the server, but uh.

Still unable to connect, Spark?

Now I can't even start starbound. Hopefully I can fix this, I can't afford to redownload it again for another 10 days.

Is your internet powered by powdered toast?
You most likely can't connect to the server because your internet can't handle it, assume the 10 days isn't a hyperbole.

I'm on a satellite connection with bandwidth limits, and ten more days before my limits reset. I've got it running again - without the new patch, mind you - but my character is now gone. I'm making a new guy and will be gathering the stove from the site once I can travel.

Sort of. I tried loading in and got an error, had to restart, and then the character was gone.

Now I'm crashing out every time I try to make a character. I think I may be stuck out of the game for a while, Pinkie. Sorry about that.

Sorry, Pinkie Pie. Unknown server version when I try to connect now, it seems I was too late.

The mods I use that you can see there: The Pony Race - aka Ponex (v 1.3 in those shots, currently runs at 1.4?) and Kawa's Twilicane.

Oh yeah, and this one doesn't require modding at all:
If you put in this:
^#00FF00;
before a letter or word or the whole name when naming your character, the letter/word/name will be 00FF00green. Other hex codes will give you the usual set of colors.
You need the whole string, ^#XXxxXX; rgb color code. Put the letter or whatever right after the semicolon.
