So! New info, just in from a friend of mine: some water is POISONOUS!

He was on a forest world with mushrooms, and a lake of green fluid on the surface was under a manufactured bridge, when the other water in the area was standard blue.

I had no time for waffles this morning, so I made them for supper instead. Because I wanted waffles. It's been months since I had waffles, and the idea stuck, so I made them and I'm eating them. However, my new wafflemaker was appropriated by my sister for her kids, so I'm left with my old wafflemaker - which actually works better, so good for me - which is actually a powerpuff girls wafflemaker, so instead of square indents my waffles are spiraled.
