The enemies are overpowered as shit in the beginning, and some people can't deal with that.

A lot are complaining that they lose pixels on death, it's literally the dumbest thing I've heard all week.

To me the most annoying thing when I first started the game was hypothermia, I died several times because I didn't know what was happening. But I eventually learnt what was going on and stayed by the fucking fire so I don't die.

Exactly, you learned how to play the game, which is the entire point of any game.

The only time that annoyed me was when I died because of fall damage, and then was 2 fucking pixels off from making my gold breastplate.

Now I'm not gonna lie there are few quarks that need to be worked on, it is beta. What I want to see the most is to be able to change hotkeys, I don't like the defaults. Thank Goddesses the devs took into account different keyboard layouts, or I wouldn't be able to play the game at all.

Well, the balance batch will come with ways to compress pixel into items, so....

It happens, then you move on by murdering everything around you. I fallen dozens of times, I've attacked things I really shouldn't have, I've blown myself up and fallen into traps, but you just keep going. The game will get easier on it's own, especially when they fix the ore spawn issues and the new combat system is put into place.

I fixed that as soon as possible, hell i don't need to worry about it even without the snow infantry armor.

Yeah, being able to change the keys is coming soon, so you won't have to worry about that for long, and yes, you are right that this is in the beta, that's why the game needs balancing, like with the new combat system, but some of these people are just ridiculous.

I'll admit, it was a minor annoyance, but it still annoyed me.
Also I'm hoping that they fix the NPC friendly fire mechanic. You have no idea how many times I've fucked up and hit my own NPCs.

I've never needed to dodge. It's too easy to cheese neutral enemies on max-level planets to get s +3 to +5 over max level weapon, then proceed to one-hit everything. Though, some luck is required to get a sufficiently slow weapon (damage per hit is more important than multiple hits for this to work.

Usually, one village/airship massacred equates to at least 2 +4's or 1 +5.

On an entirely separate note, I'm starting to notice patterns in the spawning scheme for planets. Most of the larger areas (villages, research facilities) are always closer on the left, never on the right. After that, I do believe planets have different surface sizes not relative to their depicted size on the galaxy map. I've seen large planets have only one village and nothing else before looping, while small ones have 2 research facilities + 3 glitch merchants.

    Also, look what I found:

Too bad it isn't scaled very well. It's hitting level 40's for 1-2, though perhaps the weapon is scaled off armor or something.

The only universally good tech I'd found is "Bubble boost," which is basically Gravity Neutralizer + Dash, except it can move faster than base movement and in any direction. For a pittance of an energy cost. It'll probably need some nerfing.
